Camco Aluminum Folding Sewer Hose Support helps to keep sewer hose secure over the most uneven terrain. The support cradles the sewer hose to provide stability for trouble-free drainage. Strap kit included to hold hose securely into place. Expands to support up to a 15 ft sewer hose, and compresses to just 11.5” for easy and compact storage. Handles on each end make expanding and compressing easy. Support is made of lightweight, durable, all-aluminum with solid brass rivets for rust resistance.

Good product (aluminum version). However, DO NOT try to extend any single portion of this unit without extending the unit as a whole. To be even more clear, only pull on the black handles, DO NOT try to elongate 'just one end'. You will bend yours, exactly like I just bent mine. I replaced the fold out plastic one that probably never really worked correctly and broke multiple times so I would highly recommend not buying those. I think this one is expensive a lot more than what I think it's worth, but I did give it a try it does work good The straps to hold the tube into the unit it's kind of seem useless not very easy to use. I bought the longer one which is supposed to go 15 ft, it seems to go that far and it's working pretty good at the moment. I would recommend it if you didn't mind spending this much money otherwise there's several other alternatives you could use. ... show more

    • Misleading. It's only about 8 feet long.
It's only about 8 feet long. Don't be mislead. There is a huge "15 feet" written on the front of the box, but the fine print around it states, "fits a 15 foot hose." Also, it might be too tall for your rig too. It's about 9.5 inches high where the hose fits onto the top end. Model number is 40353 if you want to search it online. They spent a lot of money on the beautiful pictures on the box. I wonder why they didn't include any honest specifications. But it looks like good quality. States there is a lifetime guarantee on the box. ... show more

SEEMED VERY STURDY, THEN IT BROKE AT RIVET POINTS ON BOTH SIDES AFTER ONLY 2 USES. GOOD WEIGHT, EXPANDS AND COLLAPSES WELL WITH NICE HANDLES, AND THE TIE HOLDS WELL. IT'S QUITE TALL (13") AT THE HIGH END, AND ONLY LOWERS ABOUT 2" WHEN EXPANDED. IT WAS TOO TALL TO GET UNDER MY CLASS A RV SEWER HOLE. REALLY LIKE THE CONCEPT, AND WAS HOPING FOR A QUALITY ALTERNATIVE TO THE PLASTIC SUPPORTS, BUT BREAKING THAT EASILY AFTER ONLY 2 USES IS HARDLY QUALITY OR ACCEPTABLE, ESPECIALLY FOR $54. I wanted to like this, seemed like a great idea. Aluminum is stronger than plastic, this sewer hose support should last forever, right? Nope. This has broken in multiple places after 1 year of use. I guess it needed lubrication at the joints, because the joints appear to be the weak spots. Will replace with a plastic sewer hose support, since those seem to last longer. ... show more

The first time I used this one of the accordion joints broke. Was already past the return window so I lived wit( it. After three uses this season it is useless. Threw it in the recycler after my last trip. Went back to the plastic kind. They only last about 2 years or so but still better than just three outings. ... show more

3 stars are for sturdiness....They are fragile. You need to be careful with them. I have already broke one. And I wasn't pulling on it very hard. They work, but you need to be gentle with them....Probably wouldn't buy them again.

    • Forget the cheap plastic sewer supports. This aluminum support is far superior.
I have a 42' RV. I reluctantly paid like $58 for this aluminum one once my original cheap plastic unit broke appart. Once it arrived and I installed it I was more than $58 dollars pleased. It is 1 piece expanding support that, for my long RV, stretched from its pack size of 1 foot to a full 15 feet of a down sloping angle. The plastic straps that hold the hose down could be improved, but, I will replace them with a couple small bungie straps.
