One of the most poorly designed pieces of furniture I've ever bought. It is in the back of my truck, will be taking to dumpster at my office. The instructions are horrendous and unclear. And the way they use long wood screws to join the surfaces at an angle, it is just really not ideal design. I consider myself somewhat handy - but following their instructions was just too much work ... also one of the pieces of joining / trim shattered when took out of box... What a well-made shelf! It is made of wood, except for the backing, which helps cut down on how heavy it is when put together. It was easy to assemble with dowels and screws. One of the side pieces was split at the predrilled holes, but I called Camaflexi at 347-844-9307 and they sent a replacement part. this product was difficult to assembly as the pre drilled holes for the bottom shelf and the sides did not line up properly. the the top is not even all the way across. I keep it because I need the book case and the box i came in was destroyed in unpacking.
