Awful design. Zipper got jammed at the second time of use. It can still be used, but it is almost impossible to unzip without it getting jammed because of its flawed design.

I've had the opportunity to wear this jacket in temperatures in the 20s, and it successfully keeps me warm. I’ve only had a thermal top underneath, but I believe this jacket could keep me from freezing in 7-degree weather, as it claims, with the right layering. I haven’t tested how well it holds up in the rain yet, but I’ve found its windproofing to be lacking. High winds can easily penetrate this jacket. Additionally, it lacks options for cinching the hood, waist, or sleeves like many other jackets do. It also doesn’t have that flap along the zipper line that helps prevent wind from blowing through the gaps. I wish the jacket had at least one more pocket large enough for smartphones. The interior pocket is too small for my iPhone, but it can fit in the hand pockets. Despite its drawbacks, I do recommend this jacket because it excels at its primary function: keeping you warm. It’s become my go-to jacket for cold weather, though I would avoid it in very windy conditions, as well as potentially rainy weather. Update: Having the chance to wear it almost daily and during a snowfall, I've come to really dislike the hood. It's almost just decorative. Yes, it does help to keep you warm but it's not good in a breeze and it does not keep the weather off your face since it doesn't protrude outward much. The hood should have been made deeper and with a way to cinch it up. The missing zipper flap has also gotten my attention again. It is not just because of the lack of wind blocking but because it also allows the inner material to get caught in the zipper quite often. ... show more
