This game is one of the very best on the market for people who still enjoy sitting and interacting with real people and gaming in the living room. It expands this capability by allowing up to 10 on each side. There are bugs and you have to set up your second player account each time you restart the console, but I'll overlook that minor irritant to be able to have an evening of enjoyment with friends as games so sadly don't permit nowadays. Call of Duty is back again and if you are a fan you already bought it. If you like the story mode which few seem to but I do then I would say give this one a shot. The story is unlike previous Call of Duty's especially in the WW2 era ones. You control four different protagonist and each one has a battle through different fronts of WW2. You will be fighting in the Pacific Front, or air dropping on Normandy, or battling in Africa, or fighting in the battle of Stalingrad. Now while some of these battles you've done before not from the perspective they give you. Each character you play is apart of this rag tag group of soldiers from different countries that for this squad to do this one mission. Basically each battle is a flashback because the Nazis captured our team. The story is good and has a great finish. It is also nice that while playing these characters they speak. I loath silent protagonist with a passion. My only complaint with the story is the checkpoints. The checkpointing is annoyingly bad. If you mess up and die or do the wrong thing be prepared to do the last 10 minutes of game over. It is a small complaint but one that bugged me to no end. The multiplayer is Call of Duty. It took me a minute to get my sea legs back, but once I did it was a bit more fun. The progression is quick and plentiful. You unlock stuff so often it will keep you playing for hours just for that rush of unlocking a new attachment or character, or perk. The zombies mode was so bad however I couldn't wait for the match I was in to end. I don't get how they made it this bad. I haven't played a zombie mode since Black Ops 3 where it was aliens, but I don't remember hating it like I did this. Maybe zombie mode was always boring, but this made me want to throw just so my team would lose and it would end. Overall this is a fun game, but flawed. The multiplayer is of course the best part of the package and still just as addictive. The story is good but once you beat it I don't see anyone ever going back to it. Of course zombies mode can just be skipped entirely. ... show more

This is a replacement for a previous "UK" version that I purchased. I was disappointed that this version will not allow me to play in Zombie mode and is asking me for more money. In fact, I'm unable to play in anything other than Campaign mode. Overall the game play is good. Only a couple of spots that were challenging and I felt the objective wasn't clear. ... show more

I purchased this game and several others--a year ago, and finally got my ps5 up and running after moving across country, new job, etc....tried multiple times to load this onto my Ps5, followed all of the tips, tricks, and 'fixes' to no avail. It gets hung up loading at every time just like one other game I bought. Patches and updates don't work either. I've tried everything, so I am left to believe the disc was scratched when I purchased it. I bought a total of about 8 ps5 discs from amazon and two won't load. money down the drain. ... show more

I purchased this game for my son-in-law for Christmas as he has enjoyed previous Call of Duty games. I'm sure he will enjoy this one also.
