It fades pretty well, takes of bald lines once zero gapped and is not as noisy as other cordless clippers. When debulking coarse hair, one has to do more than one pass to debulk properly but I also have to do that with other clippers as well so I would recommend these. This is the second one of these 50 cal clippers I have owned. I honestly like it more then any Wahl adjustable clipper I have owned. Sure it doesn’t have as much power as my cordless Seniors had but they fade so much better out of the box. I didn’t have to adjust them or put a different style blade on them to get them to do what I wanted. They cut so close that I can fade right from my trimmer line when doing a stubble or skin fade. They are also super quiet compared to any Wahl I have owned. So much nicer to use on kids cuts. They don’t sound scary. I am a full time barber doing 20 cuts a day, 5 days a week and I have yet to have to charge them during a work day. I honestly thought I would never use any brand that wasn’t Wahl, Andis or Oster but these have changed my mind for good. ... show more

I like that it is cordless, battery life seems good, but: Expensive. The edge feels very sharp on my head. At zero gap it still doesn’t cut as close as my old andis. When trimming down lower it catches hair and nicks skin. I’ve been using it for about 3 months and I have buyer’s remorse.
