ITS SO HARD TO FIND A GOOD CASE FOR THIS PHONE!! This is the 5th case I've been through on my ZF3. The problem is 1. a kickstand is ESSENTIAL for this phone. They're all terrible, flimsy garbage. This one is a bit more sturdy, but its off center on the case which makes it unstable. Looks like they intended to double it as a finger ring to hold the phone, good idea on paper, but if the kickstand doesn't work, ITS USELESS. 2. The front face on all of these cases relies on a tape strip to adhere it to the phone face. This doesn't last, and eventually the front piece will begin to shift to the right and off the phone. You'll constantly have to press it back in, which gets really annoying. PRO TIP: With this case, DO NOT TOUCH THE BACK OF THE FRONT GLASS COVER BEFORE APPLYING. You will smudge it, and once its on the phone, you can't erase them without removing the piece and reapplying it with the spare tape. They include a wet dry wipe, but only use them for cleaning the phone before applications. So, my verdict is keep questing for a case with a kickstand that doesn't break in 2 months....good luck. Update: Ok I've increased my rating to 5 stars now. This is actually a very sturdy case, and once you master the angle on the kickstand it actually works fairly well. It'll tip over if you blow on it, but more importantly you dont have to worry about it snapping off as with the others. Secondly, and just as important, the front face has yet to creep even a millimeter. Very solid adhesive. One thing you may want to do is remove the screen protector prior to installation as dirt and debris will find its way underneath and there's nothing you can do about it. This case is sturdier and APPEARS more durable than the one sold by Amazon in 2021. that purchase was a complete waste of nearly $50! I can't give five stars because I haven't had it long enough, but so far so good. The other was some hard plastic and broke within weeks of use.

When I bought this case I was nervous about the price because I'm a believer in you get what you pay for. Today I tested the limits of this thing and it endured. I've broken the front screen of my Fold before and no one would touch it. I had to completely replace the phone. I bought this case thinking eh, its cheap but it looks pretty cool so I'll just send it. It's done me well through 5 months of your normal drops and bangs but today? Today was different. I work around heavy equipment and this morning I was using my phone light to work in the dark. It was around 4 am and I was a little drowsy so I forgot I had placed it on the crease of a 400 lb hydraulic hatch. I slammed the hatch shut and heard a crunch and I knew I was out a phone. I could see half the phone hanging out and the hatch hadnt shut completely. Once I finally got it pried back open with the help of a coworker, and a few hard kicks, I saw the mostly shattered screen. I moved the front piece and noticed only the case had taken damage, and it was minimal at that! The screen protector on the front was shattered but still together, and there were some small indents in the body itself. My phone was perfectly fine. Unfortunately I have to buy another case now and that's why I'm back here leaving this review, because I'm buying it again. For 40 bucks, you're not gonna get a better case. For a 100 bucks your not gonna get a better case. This is my go to for as long as I have this phone. ... show more

The case looks sturdy and well made. I wanted a case that had one of those pop-ups on the back that allows you to hold the phone easier and this had that feature. Unfortunately there are at least one and perhaps two design flaws. Because they tried to make the pop-up double as a kickstand, they made it out of metal and attached it to the back of the phone case. This causes the phone case to not only rest too far away from the wireless charging surface, but if you have a wireless charger that holds the phone up at an angle, it wants to slip off of that because the ledges for the charging system are too small when taking into account the metal pop-up on the back. In my opinion they should have made the pop-up out of the same rubber material as diving watches. They could have attached it with a pin just like a watch band and when not in use it would have acted as part of the shock absorbent protection but still been within the confines of the case itself. This would have allowed for wireless charging. However, as it stands in no direction will this allow you to wirelessly charge your phone. Hope this helps ... show more

It is difficult to find a nice case for the Z-Fold phone. This is sturdy and attractive. I've dropped it several times and it protected my phone from damage. I chose red so that it is more visible when I try to find it. Good quality, good value.

    • Unimpressed, false advertising and a huge headache.

Case feels great, unfortunately i do think ill be getting a different one. It's a little slick even with the grooves and finger loop on back. The magnets on the hinge are NOT magnetic in any way, I took multiple metal objects to it just to be sure. The hinge does have a nice snap to it though. The real problem here is the kickstand and the magnet on the back wich is to be used for mounts. They're not what they should be. The kickstand doesn't support the weight of the phone in any angle and it ALWAYS falls. The magnet on the back is definitely NOT A MAGNET. It's a grooved piece of hard plastic, again, I took multiple objects to it to see if it would stick or attract and it wouldn't. For the price I would go with a different brand until Caka fixes this! I even reached out to a representative and no response. Edit: Caka reached out to me but then never followed through with the promise of swapping out my case as it was not as advertised and came cracked. The top left of my case has a crack down the corner that I originally mistook for a intentional cut to help with the cases grip on the phone. ... show more
