The rug is beautiful, soft and luxurious. It is a little bit slippery to walk on like everyone says. The problem I have is after we put it in place. I noticed white particles underneath the rug. We pulled all the heavy furniture off and vacuumed underneath and put it back in place. The next day I look at it and the same white particles are everywhere. It's a very soft rug but also very thin. And not as long or wide as I thought. I wish it had thicker padding. But it is very soft, easy to clean, and I haven't had any shedding issues after having it for over a month
