Features

  • Connector1: USB 2.0 Socket Connector2: USB 3.1 Front Panel Header
  • The adapter is a converter to convert the available PCI-E of a motherboard into a USB 3.1 header.
  • Thus the USB 3.1 port of a housing can also be supplied with USB 3.1 without a suitable mainboard. The compact adapter can be inserted directly and requires no additional attachments.
  • Converter plug-in for the mainboard Fits into any USB 3.0 header Bundling in USB 3.1 with up to 10 GBit / s
  • The adapter is the perfect solution to use the USB 3.1 connectors with Type-C or Type-A. Thus, two data lines with 5 Gbps each are available, which are bundled into a USB 3.1 header with 10 Gbit / s. The converter thus provides a full-fledged USB 3.1 port.

  • Works Fine
Style: Type-E 5Gbps
Works fine for flash drives and other low power devices. Not as expensive as the ones that use a SATA power cable to provide charging power.

  • Works Great!
Style: Type-E 5Gbps
Quick, easy and low cost method to upgrade older generation motherboards. To my surprise, the port allows for both power and data transfers. No software needed and took about a minute to install.

  • Does what it is supposed to but with a weird choice for the connector orientation
Style: Type-E 10Gbps
This works for me and was automatically supported in Windows 11 and Ubuntu 22.04, but like others have noted the connector for the USB 3.1 port on the case makes it awkward. With it coming straight out of the board, my cable wouldn't fit in the furthest slot and would need to extend into the power supply area. Fortunately, I was able to move a half-height card to that position and put this one next to it. With the other card being half-height, the cable could come out above it and then bend up to the top of the case. Why this isn't a right angle connector, and pointed towards the front of the case is a mystery. ... show more

  • Works great for a Corsair 5000d
Style: Type-E 10Gbps
Works great for my Corsair 5000d airflow. My motherboard ( Asus Strix b550-f) had just enough slot spacing to not hit my graphics card (Sapphire nitro+ 6950xt). With the Cablecc card being a Pcie x2 slot I had to use my 2nd x16 slot on the mobo. Also my phone fast charges off of it (pixel 7)

  • USB C Gen2 front case port WORKS NOW!
Style: Type-E 10Gbps
Just built a new gaming rig and of course my mobo didn't have the funky new gen 2 USB C port for my case's front USB C port to work. I did a lot of research and found this card. Initially I was going to return the card because I realized as soon as I tried to install the card my expansion slots were not the correct size. Now this is a bit embarrassing as I have considered myself a techie and pretty darn computer literate/capable for some time but I HAD NO IDEA the smaller PCIE expansion slots came in different sizes. So naturally when I tried to install this card, which is built for x2 PCIE slots, and it did not FIT my available slots I nearly returned the card. Here comes the second embarrassing thing I NEVER knew about PC's......smaller expansion cards are PERFECTLY FINE sitting in larger slots! I installed this card into my motherboards second x16 PCIE slot (typically used for a graphics card) and this baby works great! I tested the card with two large 4GB movie files moving from slower SATA SSD's onto the an USB C M.2 external drive the copy and paste function took all of about 20 seconds maybe. Moving the files from the external USB C m.2 back onto my PC's main m.2 (which is a blazing fast PCIE 4 m.2) the transfer was less than 10 seconds! Crazy fast! I hope this has helped anyone who was somewhat ignorant about PCIE slots! ... show more

  • Not overly pleased with this purchase.
Style: Type-E 10Gbps
You know when a electronics company thinks out a solution to an issue you would assume that they would would consider the most essential things first like the orientation of the USB-C socket on the board. I've looked at a lot of the motherboards with a USB-C socket and the attached cable and they are all orientated in the correct direction that would allow for the up-angled cable to be applied from the right to the left because that's the direction they'll be coming from, from the side of the board and most cases that have a USB-C cable have an up angled connector. With that being said, this PCIe board decided to orientate the socket in the opposite direction and as you can see from the image included this is not optimal. Not only does it not face the correct direction, but because the cable was bumping against the backplate I had to put a bend in the cable and because I needed the card to be low profile I placed it at the bottom PCIe slot and so I had to put a hard bend to the cable and it puts unneeded stress on that USB-C socket as well as the cable itself. This is not ideal and so I'm in search of another card and once I find one I'll be returning this one. I'm very disappointed that they would design it this way. ... show more

  • It works, no drivers needed for me.
Style: Type-E 10Gbps
I bought this for my girlfriend’s PC. Her motherboard did not have a front panel USB-C header, so I figured I could use one of the PCIe slots. It was literally plug-and-play. It worked right away, data transfer speeds are good, and there is good power delivery.
