First, I ordered a different version of this that cost 5 times more than this item and had to return it because it was too small for my large cabinet handles. This item feels and looks almost the same as the $250 version of it. I was able to install all of my kitchen cabinet handles and they are perfectly aligned. It saved me a lot of time and headaches!     • Solid when tightened - but manually check for square

This device does exactly what it should and does it very well. Fairly simple to set up and and intuitive to use. However - be sure to check the connections for square. There is some play before it tightens and can be a couple of degrees off square. I found that once locked, they kept square and were perfect to just go from door to door drilling holes. Left and right are no problem, as the tool flips easily without any adjustment. You will need spacers, which are not supplied, for any recessed panel handles you install (like are sometimes seen on drawers with centered handles). Even with the play, I'd give it a 5 if it had adjustable spacers included, because I will always check for square regardless of those factors. ... show more

We installed probably 100 cabinet pulls with this tool. You can use it for pretty much any size pull, double or single. It is easy to use once you learn it and the punch tool that comes with it is awesome. I cannot imagine how much time this tool saved us!

I bought this to aid in installing new cabinet handles. The instructions give you more of starting guide then an actual how to set up the jig. The learning curve is all of about 5 minutes. By then I realized that the best way to set up the jig is by also using a tape measure for the jig. I did a few test runs on a some scrap wood before I went to the cabinets. Pro tip Measure, mark then measure again. Set your jig to do all your doors first. Then set the jig to do all the common size drawers. If you want to verify the position you can use a skinny pencil that will fit in the holes for handles. Mark it and verify. Over all it was worth money. It saved me some time measuring each hole individually. Yes it’s a one and done type tool. I will likely never use it again or at least not for many many many years but the cabinet company that installed my kitchen cabinets wanted $500 to supply and install the handles. I bought some really nice high quality handles for $100 and this $50 jig. ... show more
