I put two of these units together today and they work great. Took a bit to get the hang of it. Just have to make sure you get the pieces snapped together all the way. It is lightweight and easy enough for one person to assemble and move around. The only issue is that one of the boxes was missing one of the squares to put it together. I have contacted Amazon customer service who can’t help, says I have to contact the manufacturer directly and there is not a simple way to do that. Was told I had to report an issue with the store? But the options were just things like “this store is misleading/false advertising/fake reviews” and nothing about contacting them. I sent a message and hopefully i get a reply. I really just wanted an email address or something so I could get the missing piece shipped out. But overall, the shelves themselves are great and seem pretty good ... show more

The screws were definitely not easy to mangle when you do unique shapes but other wise super easy to put together and it can hold all my clothes. And the color was ideal for my room.

I was a little disappointed at first that the panels weren't "rigid". They're really built for light weight and non sharp objects. Where this shines, and what I bought it for, is a display that you can transport, and mount strip lights to, yet will also break down into a box small enough to take on a plane with you. This is a self-assemble shelving unit, fairly simple to put together, just takes some time and effort locking in the assembly connectors. Seems sturdy and stable for light items, but I wouldn't use it for heavy items since the "walls" are just plastic sheeting. The user reviews stated that one could make multiple separate units from all these pieces, but this is not the case. I'm missing 2 connectors for one of my shelves - I built 2 separate units. So unfortunately that shelf is a bit unstable and I can't put items on top because the shelf will collapse in without the connector to stabilize the corner.
