The only reason why I say it's not lightweight is because it's not supposed to be, it's a weighted blanket. But once you pull the covers over it's not heavy on your body. It's comfortable. I spend a good week trying to find a good comforter because you never know really what the quality could be online. It is SUPER SOFT , The color is AMAZING if you love a deep dark purple that basically honestly is giving me magical ✨ vibes this is it! Must I say too, I have fibromyalgia so I'm very picky about a blanket being too hot or too cold and it can't have certain fibers otherwise it makes my skin crawl.... It’s a beautiful large comforter but it is super thick and heavy . I’m pretty sure it won’t fit in my top loader machine . I also think it would be very hot to cover with . It’s like a weighted blanket . But I still love the look of it .

This really is such a cozy comforter. It’s not as oversized as I’d hoped but it’s still big enough. My husband and I are both so happy with this. The purple is so gorgeous, it’s super soft and we feel so comfy and relax as soon as we lay down. Definitely worth the money!

The color is just what I wanted and very true to the Amazon picture. I don't like how the texture is two different directions. If you brush it one way it lays flat and if you brush it the other way it stands up. It is soft but not as soft as the ad makes it look and some of the material inside wants to shift a little. ... show more
