Was shipped with the wrong diagonal pieces (the ones I received were far too short) so I had to drill new holes in the rake head. Also, the rubber grip does not stay on at all, so I glued it on. Outside of this, it's a rake that is light enough and sturdy enough. It's fine.

I needed to plant some grass seed and found that my other rake was so heavy that I couldn’t get it to glide over the surface. I chose this rake to grad the soil and level it without having the issues of the tines sinking to deep and creating more work. The 3 foot wide rake head really helps disperse the weight so that this rake can float. The metal tones are perfect for planting the seed. Then I can use the flat side to glide the soil over the seeds. The handle is 6 feet long so I get a mic long reach. The end is padded and helps reduce blisters on the hand when working for a long period of time. The handle is secured with nuts and bolts. The thick metal pieces of hardware offer great stability. If they loosen over time due to rigorous use, it’s easy to tighten them back up. ... show more

The support strips are too short and don't reach the holes that are drilled into the rake piece. Not sure if you can see that in the photo. Otherwise, it seems like a decent and sturdy design. It's aluminum, so it's pretty light too. But the price isn't exactly cheap. So it's not just wasted, I'll drill the holes myself. But some could get this that doesn't have a drill and they'd need to return it. ... show more

I bought this for our local ball field. It's a volunteer project so I wasn't able to spend a lot of money on it. Thankfully this works great at a budget friendly price. It was super easy to assemble and seems very durable. It's very easy to use and it's very sturdy when you are using it. The rake was either shipped with the wrong-sized angle supports, or the holes for attachment were drilled in the wrong location - see pic. I had to drill new holes in order to get the supports to fit. Once assembled, it works well for spreading recomposed granite.
