Features

  • Warm Tips: The B112 remote ID module can only broadcast the location information of the GPS drone and the operator normally when there is sufficient GPS signal outdoors. Please disconnect the power supply in time after it is fully charged to ensure safety.
  • Compliant with FAA: The FAA requires, for drones weighing more than 250 grams (0.55 pounds) and without remote ID broadcast functions, you need to use an additional external RID module (a signaling system). The Bwine B112 remote ID module is a good choice to make your drone over 250g compliant with FAA regulations. It will suit F7 GPS drone and most other brands' drones such as Mini 4K, Mini 3, Mini 4 Pro, Air 3, Mavic 3, Mavic 3 Pro, Avata 2, FPV, Spark, Phantom 2, Phantom 3, Phantom 3 SE, Phantom 4, Phantom 4 Pro, ATOM SE, ATOM 3-Axis, HS720, HS720E, HS720G, HS720R, HS600, F11, U11, etc.
  • Accurate GPS Tracking: The Bwine remote ID module for drones with camera for adults 4K has a GPS tracking function with an error of less than 3 m. Effective range: 500-800m. The module will send the drone & operator location information through wireless broadcasts, like latitude and longitude, altitude, flight speed, etc.
  • Wider Compatibility: The Identification module will also fit with FPV drones, RC gliders, RC helicopters, RC jet fighter, fixed-wing aircraft, fixed-wing helicopter, multirotor, flapping-wing drone, paragliding drone, and other quadcopters and aircraft. It has 4 kinds of simple install tools to better achieve this feature. 2Velcros, 2Double-sided Tape, 8Self-locking zip tie, 1Zip Tie with Adhesive Base.
  • Compact Design: The weight of the drone remote ID broadcast module is only 13.5g (0.48oz) with a size of 1.3*1.1*0.5inch. Just looks like a piece of chocolate cube. Compared with other modules, it is smaller and more exquisite. Will not burden the drone.
  • Premium Battery: B112 only needs to take 40 minutes to charge fully, and then it can last up to 5 hours of usage time. a Type-C charging cable is also included in the package. No need to look for an additional cable yourself.

  • Simple setup, good battery life, App works without hiccups.
I have a DJI Phantom 3 Pro that is still a great drone but obviously, no longer legal to fly with a remote ID add on. I ordered this to allow me to remain legal and keep flying my trusty drone. There are different solutions when considering an add-on module, those that are self-powered and those that are powered by the drone. If I were flying an FPV drone that I built myself, I might be inclined to consider a module that is not self-powered. But since I'm flying a DJI Phantom, it's not even a decision. It's much better to just buy the self-powered one and stick it on. This module is very small and lightweight. It weighs 13.5 grams on my scale. The advertised battery life is 5 hours so it's got way more operating time than I would ever need on a given day. The setup is super simple. The app included a complete owners manual built in which is super handy in case you lose the printed one. Honestly, you could easily set it up without instructions once you know which button is which on the module. The app connects to the module without and fuss and the whole process is over about as fast as you can fill in the required fields. After that, you just need to turn the module on before you fly and turn it off when you finish. There really isn't much more to it than that. ... show more

  • Makes your drone compliant
I was surprised at how small and light this unit was. The literature was clear, and the setup was straightforward. I mounted it on a DJI drone to compare the numbers. It seems fairly accurate and provides a decent amount of information. The "man" should have nothing to complain about. I did lose contact in the nanny app at around 650 feet—line of sight, of course. Letting it sit for a few minutes to get a good GPS lock is critical to most anything that uses GPS and needs to update its almanac. The accuracy is what I expect for something so small. It does report your takeoff. In a public place, I'd take off and then move away from the takeoff location so some Karen doesn't come and--illegally--harass an active drone pilot. The price seems right, and I have seen other products that appear to be clones of each other. 100% recommended. ... show more

  • Good and cheap (comparatively)...
The RID module is more compact and cheaper than the Holystone module I've been utilizing, and the additional button and lights make it more user-friendly. The dedicated Settings button for programming the module is particularly beneficial. Having three indicator lights is useful for quickly determining the module's status, including GPS lock, which is not as clear with the Holystone RID module. The programming app on the iPhone, which doubles as a RID scanner, is convenient and allows for the modification of the module's broadcast information. It's advantageous that the same app can be used for various RID modules, similar ones sold under different brand names. For example, I programmed this Bwine module using the Ruko app, meaning less apps to install to the phone for the different modules you might end up with. The smaller size also made it suitable for mounting on my older Phantom 4 Advanced for Part 107 commercial use. As the drone's GPS module takes up the top of the body, the RID module needs to be attached to a leg or a side. Given the drone's curved body a smaller module is ideal for mounting at the front, which is optimal as the rear top area above the battery is better suited for mounting a strobe light for night flights. I used Scotch/3M Duo-Lock mounting pads, which allows the module to be detached for charging but yet holds very firmly when in flight. ... show more

  • Works great and the internal battery is nice
I don't fly drones but I do fly RC planes. Thanks to the FAA (and irresponsible drone pilots of the last 10 years) I have to fly with a remote ID now if I am not flying at my local club that has FRIA certification. I had picked up a remote ID from one of the big retailers but it needs to plug into your receiver to get power and since I move it from plane to plane it can be a minor annoyance. The internal battery on this one solves that problem. I just put velco on my plane somewhere, attach and go fly. Setup was a breeze if you follow the instructions. The app they tell you to download makes it simple and can be used when you fly to verify it is working. I don't care for the app that much as it's features are not as robust as the Drone Scanner app I normally use. It gets picked up by the Drone Scanner app like any other ID so that is good. Overall, it does what it is supposed to do the make the FAA happy and allows you to fly away from FRIA fields. ... show more

  • A very useful tool for protecting your drone investment
How useful is this? Well, last week I had a new drone do a "fly-away and get lost somewhere in the woods in an indeterminate direction. Had I the foresight to register the drone and the Bwine Remote ID module I would have retrieved my drone fairly easily. As it is it's... gone. So why DIDN'T I register the Remote ID module? Because that drone was, like all but one of my current drones, under the 249-gram weight that requires FAA registration and certification. From everything I can see and tell from reviewing this item it's VERY handy if you need to have a remote transmitter. It's definitely small, lightweight, and provides a well thought out range of means to fasten to your drone. The tracking capacity is able to put you within a couple of meters of the actual landing point, making retrieval of the drone that much easier. Even the color scheme is meant to not detract from the natural look of the drone. My second most likely drone already has a remote ID transmitter and is satellite tracked, so that brings the choices down to a half dozen or so roughly $50.00 level drones that have very limited range normally anyhow. What I am getting at here is, this is for a more expensive drone. I was not aware of this when I bought it, and that is on me. Excellent uses for this would include racing drones and other, more risk-sensitive drones that would be difficult to track down normally. ... show more
