I'm a lip gloss junkie and Buxom is my favorite. I love Hot Toddy but haven't been able to find in store so i bought here. Unfortunately, the color isn't the same as when you buy at Sephora. I'm not happy about that, but still love the brand. Just won't buy on Amazon anymore.

I first became aware of this brand at my local Sephora. When I went back a year later to buy it again, they were out of stock. So I jumped on Amazon (my favorite place to buy anything!) and found the Buxom brand. It is the ONLY “lipstick” I wear. It has a soothing menthol feeling which is so refreshing. I am obsessed. I love this stuff. The 2 colors I tried somehow both look like they were made specifically for me (Mudslide and Sofia). The texture is nice. It's a cream and a gloss at the same time. So it goes on and you get a nice boost of sheer color plus you can feel it tingling and plumping the minute you apply it. At first I thought it went on a little sticky (which I normally hate) and it does go on that way but it also has a creamy texture so the stickiness dies down after a minute but the beautiful color and glossy shine remain for much longer than any of my other glosses which range from the cheapest stuff at the drugstore to dior and ysl. Maybe that initial stickiness gives it it's staying power. Oh did I mention they smell great and have lip conditioning ingredients too? My boyfriend even noticed it and he never notices things like that but one night he looked at me and said "how come your lips look so... juicy? They look hot" Now that I've tried this lip plumping cream I don't know how I ever lived without it. I included a photo of "before" I put any lip products on and after I applied the Buxom lip cream in the shade "Mudslide" also I included a pic of a full sized tube (Mudslide) and a half size one (Sophia) ... show more
