I really wanted to like these shoes... The material is really nice and I liked how flexible they were. However, this is a strange shoe because it's made for a wider foot (and the toe box is quite wide indeed) BUT at the arch, the sole narrows in so it doesn't actually support the inside edge of your foot. Since I'm dealing with plantar fasciitis, this lack of support is concerning and I had to return these. ... show more

I've been using them for Pickleball several times weekly. They're a great design, fit and very comfortable. I tried on all the women's tennis shoes before finding these. They're making the toe boxes really narrow now. These are normal width in the toe box like they used to be. Some people have mentioned that these are wide. I don't feel they are. I'm a 7 with a normal width. I use Balega hidden comfort socks which have a nice medium thickness. You can also tie down on the laces to adjust the width. Love the colors too. ... show more

I have worn Babalot shoes for the past 50 years while playing, coaching, and teaching tennis. As I’ve start playing pickleball, now that I’m older, I started trying many different types of shoes (Adidas, Sketchers, Head, etc) None of them gave me the comfort and fit of the Babalot SFX. The wide toe area allows breathability and comfort, while the fit is always perfect! I wear a women’s size 10.5, and when I order these I know I can put them on, they’ll fit perfectly, and I can go straight to the courts with no break in time. These are seriously comfortable shoes. Truth be told, I replace the insoles immediately, but still, they're the best I've found so far. The wide toe box is perfect for my feet, which makes sense since I believe the standard width of these shoes is actually a 2E. My one gripe is that I've had these shoes for literally 1 month and I've already worn through the sole. I've played under 50 hours with these shoes. I may play a little harder than typical wearers, but I don't think it's that much. I have an old tennis habit where I'll sometimes drag my toe before hitting an overhead, the tops of these shoes offer ZERO grace. The tear in this photo is from the ONE time I dragged my foot. Love the shoes, hate that there's no outsole warranty and that they only last 40-50 hours of play. ... show more
