I have replaced the most commonly blown fuses in our 1940-era house with these breakers. The house has old knob-and-tube wiring with very limited capacity. Rather than increase the rating of the fuses, which risks fire, we have stayed with the 15-amp fuses in the past--and they blow frequently if we overload them by using too many high-draw appliances (like toaster oven, microwave, and space heater). With these breakers, resetting them requires only the push of a button rather than constantly replacing the blown fuses. I recommend these for safety and convenience. ... show more

I have a really old electrical system that needs to be replaced but I can’t afford to at the moment, so this is the next best thing! Local stores for some reason stopped selling this type of fuse and my system won’t take anything else. This was the only fuse I could find that worked!
