Pro: The desk was easy to assemble. Cons: Deep regret accompanies the purchase of this useless piece of "furniture." We've had it put together and in use for less than 2 months, and the top of the desk is already caving from normal use. It is used for homework, so not every day, and nothing crazy sits on top of it. Bowing after one day! This piece took me half a day to assemble, and portions of it broke off during assembly. Do not spend your money! If it had not taken me so long to assemble, I would be returning this product. I put a standing desk on top of it. It is supposed to hold up to 200 pounds. I don’t know exactly how much my standing desk weighs, but I can easily pick it up and I am rather weak when it comes to strength. I knew this wasn’t going to last long, but I didn’t expect it to begin bowing within one day! It doesn’t take a structural engineer to tell that there is not enough support to withhold any amount of weight. Even if it could withstand the weight of my portable standing desk, The drawer is wobbly (yes, I assembled it correctly) and the piece itself is low quality. I am disappointed bits of it fell off when I was trying to hammer in the back of the shelf. It’s so flimsy, I’m afraid to try to put the hutch on it! ... show more

    • Desk was fine, hutch was busted.
The hutch is entirely busted, several of the pueves were snapped and it seemed to be caused by the very tight packaging, oh and they didnt give us the screws and stuff even if we wanted to build it. Otherwise its great. The desk is great.

Love ,love, love this desk. Very roomy. Nice and solid. The only problem is that it was supposed to be gray and only the hitch came in gray and the desk itself is more of a natural wood color. We already had the desk together and we’re working on the hutch when we noticed it. That is my only complaint. It stinks to pay so much for this piece of furniture and not get the color I paid for. I got this desk for my home office space and I love it! It is definitely easier with two people to put together but it can be done with one. It is extremely heavy. The desk itself is very sturdy and easy to clean. I did not have any issues with it coming damaged or missing any pieces. Instructions were very clear and came in two separate boxes. One for the desk and the second for the hutch. I recommend this desk for anyone who needs more desk space. ... show more
