I love this watch, the ticking is in 4 times per second so it looks very smooth compared to cheaper watches. You’re getting close to a Rolex look with the sweeping seconds hand. The cuts of the stainless is very good the sapphire glass is pretty. Even the Zales associate was impressed with the quality for the price. The jeweler had to remove 6 links for it to have a tiny bit of play but fit almost perfect. They expressed that the links were pretty small which is smart to get a closer accuracy with making sure it fits any wrist and the extra links are great to keep for backups in case of damage. It was only $15 from Zales to remove any amount of links to fit it for me. (Plus tax of course) but onto the automatic. I love the no need for a battery I just wind it a handful of times in the morning. I work in an office and don’t move a lot I type but it looks great and it gets lots of attention.     • Surprisingly elegant for the money!
I was pleasantly surprised at the look and feel of this timepiece as soon as o unboxed it. It has weight to it and doesn’t feel flimsy at all. I’ve only had it for about five hours and it is keeping perfect time. I had to remove four links from the bracelet to make it fit perfectly and it feels good on my wrist. I actually can’t stop looking at it. It just looks so elegant and is a great homage to a Rolex President. I would highly recommend this timepiece to anyone who wants the look and feel of a more expensive watch for a fraction of the cost. ... show more

    • Amazing quality watch
I couldn't recommend a watch more than I do this one. I am a huge citizen watch fan because of the quality and craftsmanship, but have always been drawn towards automatic watches. After doing some research and reading a lot of reviews, I decided to give Burei a chance with this great looking watch. The package came on time and boy was it packaged well. At the same time I purchased another more expensive automatic watch from a more well known brand and the Burro was packaged better, came with a gift bag, and also came with a tool to resize the bracelet by yourself. I can tell you that I am a watch enthusiast and I am so so so happy I came across this brand. The movement isn't 100% smooth, but you you won't get that unless you pay upwards of 1,000 dollars for a tivannes or Mont blanc, etc. It still is a very good movement and I can't stop looking at the watch while I'm wearing it. This watch has impressed me more than any watch I have ever owned, and I will definitely look to Burei for my next watch purchase! ... show more

The watch is absolutely beautiful. It is reminiscent of a cross between an oyster perpetual and a submariner. The watch is solid and has a good weight to it. The cyclops eye makes the date much easier to read. This is my first time with this brand of watch. I ordered it after I broke my second self winding Seiko watch - I am VERY rough on watches. The sapphire crystal should hold up against a lot of abuse. The two main reasons I bought the watch are the self winding ( I will never buy another watch that needs a battery) and the sleek look. I would definitely recommend this watch to anyone, and the price point can’t be beat ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I really loved this watch. The gold plating held up nicely. After about 2 years, I started to notice some oxidation on the face. I live on an island in Florida surrounded by salty ocean water air. I never swam with it but I would wear in the shower from time to time. I wore this watch almost every day, and I would have to reset it about once a week. That didn't bother me. I think it's a great watch for the money. I should have taken better care of it. I think it comes with a warranty, but my warranty period may be over. I have the same watch in a few different colors, (all purchased around the same time )and they're all in perfect condition because I hardly use them. I will buy again. ... show more

This is a complete Rolex clone. It has such an elevated design. If you put this on your wrist it quickly elevated your overall attire. Built like a small tank, crafted very decent for the price point. Only Florine I had was the bracelet. Felt it was too flamboyant. Swapped it out for a leather band…

    • A year later and I'm still seriously impressed!!!
I bought this watch back in April 2020 and wanted to wait to write a review to see if it would even still work. Not only does it work incredibly well but it still looks brand new even though I wear it about half the week for 52 weeks now. I get compliments on it all the time, it's mechanical and the movement is great, and it doesn't lose time. I recommend this watch not just for its price point but because it's a really good watch at any price. 5 stars ... show more

Way nicer than expected for the price. Easily looks like a high-end watch you would find from a leading brand. Surprised i’ve never heard of Burei before but this definitely won’t be my last purchase from them.
