It works how it's supposed to, but it smells REALLY REALLY BAD OF CHEMICAL. I've had it like two weeks now and it still smells terrible! Like when I come in the house from work that's all I smell when I walk in. I don't want to send it back because it already took longer than amazon usually does to arrive and, in my opinion, Bumbo is just the best brand of this seat. I've had other brands and I just prefer Bumbo. I just put a blanket over when I sit my twins in it but honestly if it doesn't go away soon, I will contact seller. ... show more

This is our 3rd Bumbo. Our daughter hates it but I wouldn’t subtract stars for that. Upon reflection, you start to realize how much crap you bought and didn’t need by child 2 or 3. The Bumbo should be put in the pile with peepee teepees. It seems like a good idea but in the end it’s just more crap you don’t need to raise a baby and it probably won’t make you or your baby’s life any easier. Between the bouncer, swing, high chair, other swing, playmat, etc I just don’t need another place for my daughter to sit and play. It isn’t especially portable and it isn’t especially interactive. It’s just a chair and by 4-6 months I already have 3+ other options that serve dual purposes or are at least engaging. The quality of the product is good, it hasn’t changed in 10 years. The tray table design unfortunately is difficult to get on and off. I would have hoped they would have updated that by now. If you’re a first-time parent and feel like you need one of everything to be successful, really, I get it. Honestly though, you don’t and the earlier you realize that the happier your wallet will be. ... show more

If your baby has thunder thighs- good luck getting her in and out! At 5 months old, I have to hold the seat down with my feet to pull her out. Otherwise I'd just be carrying her around with a bumbo stuck to her butt.
