I purchased for my German Shepherd puppy after reviewing everything I could find. Zoey's a little picky so I was hopeful she'd like it, and it turns out she loves it. Unfortunately, it's a little too expensive, since I've recently entered the "looking for work" category.

The food is good for growth but some ingredients are causing itching. I need to try a grain free dog food to see if this works. My poor pocket bully is scratching his ears raw. I clean him and he eats our veggies for immune health but still scary he’s on occasion.

After chatting with Bully Max rep, Joyce, on their website, I bought the puppy food bcuz she said it was ok to feed it to my 1 month old pitbull puppy. My main concern was how hard the pieces would be as puppy teeth aren't as strong as older pups. She said it fine bcuz it was not hard but I could soak it if needed to soften it. My puppy hates it. She did try a few pieces, spit them out (whole) and now won't have anything to do with it. I tried soaking it in her warm formula but, after 3 hours, this stuff is still hard as rocks. There's no way she could eat them w/o breaking her tiny teeth. Almost $30 wasted bcuz they don't take returns. I feeI was lied to. My 2yr old pitbull seems ok with it so I guess he'll finish off the bag. ... show more
