Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, many actors having been self taping for auditions for home, doing performances via platforms like Zoom, Vimeo Studio 6, OBS, as well as attending callbacks via Zoom or Skype. The Stand is pretty good but the ad said (as well as the assembly instructions) i should get a phone holder and a travel bag for the stand. neither of which were in the box. I nee the stand for work so i don't want to go through the hassle of sending it back, just wish i had a phone number i could call to get the items i am missing. ... show more

    • Stand will meet the need but is fragile

The stand is portable and with alterations will meet the needs of my nonprofit to have right-size surface for a laptop used by guest speakers. Issues come at both ends. The tripod feet section doesn’t slide smoothly from folded position to use position. I’ve used WD-40 on the slide joint and waxed the tube but it is still difficult. I’m concerned that the thin struts of the tripod will bend in the process of setting up the stand and eventually break. At thr top tray end, they provide a thin piece of less than an 1/8 foam as padding in a tray with a lip edge that is 1/2 inch high. We have designed our own “padding” insert to allow a laptop to sit high enough to expose the HDMI or USB ports that a speaker needs access to on their laptop to connect it to other devices. Although the attachable mouse pad area can be used for right or left handed use, the smooth surface is not the norm for use but needs a mouse pad on it. Since it is about 6X8 inches, you might want to cut down a real mouse pad and tape it in place on top of the extension. ... show more

Pros: Super easy to assemble, adjustable and adequate height, comes with a phone stand Cons: Not super sturdy compared to the AmazonBasics stand I'm using this stand to take phone videos and also to hold a bucket of ping pong balls, so it's perfect for my needs. Took only a minute to assemble, and it comes with a phone stand, which is great. It seems reasonably sturdy, but I wouldn't use it for anything heavy-duty, or to trust it with expensive equipment. I think this is a good price for a quality product. Lots of flexibility for height. Sturdy but light enough to cayy around. Nice carry bag. Mouse tray could be improved or repositioned. This was so disappointing! The item itself is fine but the box was open when it arrived and missing the screws for assembly and the mouse pad and also one of the knobs is cracked in half. I don't want to have to return the whole thing because we had some screws that worked ok but still. I'm sure Prime's fault not the seller. ... show more

    • It’s not sturdy nor is it as tall as described

It was very hard to assemble for myself. I had to get my dad to try to assemble it for me & neither did he understand the parts that came with it & the instructions were not clear. We literally spent 2 hours trying to figure out which part goes where. I don’t know if the seller gave me unmatched parts but my stand did not stand up tall. We had to eliminate a piece that was supposed to make the stand sit taller which was an inconvenience because I originally bought this for my projector in my living room. So I had to compromise & have it stand on other things. I didn’t want to go through the hassle of returning it & getting a return being that it’s already cheap.     • Okay for the money
Size: 23 Inch-63 Inch
Pros: super tall, comes with a reusable tote bag. Cons: Tray angle knob doesn't tighten down enough, no indicator/stopping point on any of the poles, mouse tray and phone holder are terrible. Bottom line: I would not trust this stand with an expensive projector at full extension. Not without attaching some guy-lines first. The tray is large enough that, even a little force applied to the end, makes it tilt forward or backward (even when fully hand-tightened). At a reasonable height, on flat ground, it'd be okay, but when fully extended, and on grass or dirt, there's no way I'd put a projector on it. The mouse tray is just super cheap, and attaches by a design that kind-of pinches it in place. There's no border or lip to stop a mouse from sliding off, and it does because the mouse tray only lays flat when you push on it. The phone holder doesn't clamp a phone in any way. If your phone doesn't fit the exact width of the phone holder, it's not holding your phone (and I have a Pixel 5, which is small by today's standards, and it was too big). The nice thing is that you can remove the phone holder, and use the post for something else (maybe a GoPro?? Haven't tried yet ...). So, I'm giving this thing three stars because, I feel like most people are using this on a stage, or some place with a reasonably flat ground. And they're not extending it all the way to the max height. So for average use, it's a pretty average product. Three stars. ... show more
