    • Home-made rocking chair became a family heirloom.
I gave this book as a gift to my niece who built the rocking chair for my grandniece. My niece was so happy and proud of herself for building the chair herself. She has since passed the chair on to another niece with a young daughter and now the chair is considered a family heirloom with other members of the family looking forward to having the rocking chair in their home. First granddaughter was born a year ago and I wanted to make her something unique and personal even though I am not very handy.
