I thought this was the more plastic-ish bubbles which would have been perfect for bubble painting. The set is great for actual painting but this is literally colored bubble solution which I could have made myself for $1-$2. Super disappointed as well as my birthday girl.

Arrived in the original labeled box, was sealed with regular scotch tape on all sides. Kit includes eight separate bottles of various colored bubble solutions (there was one duplicate of purple), glasses in a plastic bag, two thick(er) paper straws, two small plastic wands, eight small bowls, two bubble blowers and a pack of ten blank canvases. No instructions or tips included. All bottles had safety seals still attached. Solution is extremely pigmented and dense/thick in the bowls but, color is much lighter on paper. Blue bubble blower had foam inside and the top cap had what appeared to be teeth marks. Blowers are short in length and widen at the top where the bubble maker piece detaches. Both are made with a sturdy plastic and comfortable to use. Bubbles come out at a steady pace and doesn't require too much force. Would be better if mouthpieces were smaller. You also have to get really close to the paper to allow the bubbles to make contact. Paper itself isn't large enough and the purple barely showed up, mainly looked like wet spots. Solution can soak through the canvas easily. Included paper straws are longer but, their longevity is questionable. Safety glasses included was kind of pointless because they were huge and more for an adult. Didn't create the bubble outlines like usual and was more so just liquid building up on paper. Would skip this one for a better set after trying it. ... show more

This Bubble Painting Kit - DIY Art and Painting Supplies for Boys and Girls displays the following pros and cons: Pros: -Multiple colors of bubble solution (8) -8 Paint cups and 4 bubblers and multiple accessories included -Fun activity for kids -Easy to follow instructions with cool designs Cons: -Can get very messy as expected Overall, this is a fun kit that I would recommend doing outside so the bubbles don't stain on anything inside. Thought this was a good idea for an 8 year old as a summer activity. She loves bubbles.... I thought the result would be a cool bubble, circles effect..... what you get is a messy way to make sloppy tie dye paper. Not to mention it's cheep packaging in Chinese writing with no directions what so ever. ... show more
