It's easy and intuitive to set up. The battery goes in wide side up as usual. The display won't flash though until you push the "Mode" button. I was putting it in one side up, then the other side, and the instructions led me to expect a flash but I didn't get one. Can adjust speed units and temperature units. It come with metric set, but I switched to mph and degrees Fahrenheit. It's small and light to hold, and the display is easy to read. I look forward to testing it in high winds, which we don't have here recently. ... show more
