I absolutely love using this razor it fits well in my hands and isn’t too small or over sized like other razors out there. One of my biggest complaints so far is the blade can be a bit of a pain getting it into place but once you lock it in it will not move. Where to start with this one, well since I was about seven years old I have been using straight razors. My mother who is a retired cosmetologist is the one who taught me how to shave myself and with her teaching and by learning through trial and error I have become quite good using a straight razor, and also being able to judge the Quality. At a price of only 20$ you just can’t go wrong. For people who have never used one and are wanting to get into the Art of shaving with a straight razor to a professional barber, or hairstylist you cannot go wrong. The blades are extremely sharp and well-made and in my opinion it is all that much more worth it and a very much added bonus that they give you 100 of them. I strongly recommend that you give this product a try, You won’t regret it. Remember for those of you who have never use the straight razor to be very cautious make sure you know your surroundings and make sure that you will not be interrupted while you were shaving. I added this just because I have seen some bad accidents with beginners who have severely cut themselves. Now onto the craftsmanship of this razor. I must admit that at a price point of only $20 I was somewhat skeptical of the quality, but upon its arrival and using it that skepticism was quickly dismissed. This razor is very well-made all around the people at this company seem to have a great passion for the products that they make as their products are a cut above. You people at BRV have earned yourself a long-term customer with much more repeat business in the future and I look forward to buying more of your products and also doing reviews on them. I generally do not do reviews on products quite frankly because most of the products that I order are just what I expected them to be or are less than stellar. The reason that I have decided to leave this company and this razor a glowing review is because I can say with 100% certainty that I know this is a very well-made razor and it seems the people at the company Cara great deal for their customers. I strongly urge anyone that is into maintaining their own facial hair to not only give this razor a chance about to give their other products a chance as well. With that said this is the only product that I have ordered from the company but if the other products are as good as this one is then there is no doubt in my mind that those will be well beyond expectation. First impression, it works as it should, it is a blade holder, if you cut yourself it is not the fault of the shaver, maybe the blades. I nicked myself the first time but it was my fault and the second time I used it I used Proraso Shaving Soap and didn't get a nick so the soap makes a difference too and the way you use the soap while shaving. Don't be afraid to keep the skin and beard soaped up and wet. The shavette feels heavy to me and I have to get use to that. I am used to using the light LORD throw away shavers. I don't like the fold up handle, but I will get use to that too. If you have never used one of these I would suggest practicing without the blade and to watch a few videos on YouTube but if I can use one then anyone can, just take you time.
