My three kids love these, and we have bought them twice for each one. They are cute, love the timer and the cup they come with. However, we find they are VERY hard to keep clean. There is mold that gets into each crevasse unless you clean it every day. My kids literally use toothpicks to get it all out. I received Jovie the Giraffe last Friday which meant it was the perfect time to test it out over the weekend with my daughter. She is still a little young but we are trying to get in the habit early. Contents Firstly, space is an issue in our bathroom so I was pleasantly surprised that this came with drywall anchors to secure to the wall and not take up my precious counter space. I was also very happy with everything that comes along with this for the price. You get the base, two brush heads and the cover to keep it clean. It also has a matching color cup and timer; each with its own place in the stand. First Use I decided that I was going to use one of the brush heads for myself to “test” it out before I gave it to my daughter. She has never had an electronic brush so I wanted to make sure it was adequate without being too harsh. For those that don’t read product descriptions, this is not a rechargeable toothbrush, it requires double AA’s. While I prefer to have a rechargeable for myself, I would prefer one that I can change the batteries on for my kid. This way I get power at a moment’s notice and I don’t have to wait for it to charge if they “forget” to put it back on the charger. The power is very good. It is easy to handle and doesn’t require too much pressure to get that clean feeling. With that, I gave it to my daughter to try. She was slightly confused at first but I found she treats it a little better than a plain regular toothbrush because of the bright colors and animal decoration. The design and colors make her feel like it is special and as such, takes better care of it. I have to give this product a 5 out of 5 just for the quality and price of the toothbrush. My six year old loves this toothbrush set. He now wants to brush his teeth several times a day and it had previously been a challenge to get him to brush twice daily.
