Son's Bruder horse trailer was missing it's horse so I looked around to try to find another horse here on Amazon. He has a Schleich (sp?) horse but it's really kind of small for the Bruder horse trailer. And horses even in kits all seemed too big or way too small. Horse in a Learning Resources set of 7 animals is too large and they have slight mold rings around their necks if you care about that. (the cow in set does fit in Bruder cattle truck) Anyhow, we ended up getting one of these. Yes, it is only one horse but it seems that that's what toys cost these days. The Schleich cost even more. These are less articulated than Schleich horses but this Bruder horse (we got the white one) is hard durable plastic and the surface has a sort of nice soft texture to it, soft eyes and now the Bruder and Schylling horses are parent and child in playtime with Bruder trailer. ... show more

Nice toy, but I was bummed we received the brown with dark brown mane, because we already have that one. The first one we got came with a Bruder Jeep and horse trailer. My son, (now 3 & a half yrs) has always loved that horse since he got the Jeep & trailer at age 2. I thought it would be nice to get his horse a friend - especially since the price went down, but I was really hoping we would get the white one or the black one. :/ They seem very sturdy and well made, ours is still perfect after a year & a half, and we love that it's not Made in China junk like almost all other toys. It's a nice, simple toy that encourages imaginative play and I'd highly recommend it. I just wish you could pick the color!!! ... show more

Great for active play and little hands! Sturdy and durable. Purchased for 4 year old grandchild will last as they are handed down to siblings! Value would be improved if you could choose a coat color, IMO.

The horse is sturdy - great for a toddler to play with. The legs are sturdy, so it is easy for my 2 year-old to get the horse to stand on almost any surface. I received the brown horse - I would like to be able to select the color - so that I can get a variety of different horses.

I was a bit decieved by the description on Amazon -- I thought it included 3 horses and was jazzed about the value. Instead, I got the white horse (luckily). I took a second look at the Amazon description and accept that I didn't read it closely enough. Amazon (listen up) should make it more clear. Love that it's not made in CH. German quality rocks. Horse is very solid and has good detailed features. I expect years of enjoyment from my 4 yr kids -- for seven bucks, that works out fine. ... show more

Nice horse, unfortunately, I should have read the reviews so I would know there was only ONE horse. Price too high for one horse. Seems like all they stock is the dark brown horse. That's what we received along with many others who recently reviewed this product. Disappointed in the color since that's what came inside the Bruder truck. ... show more
