It look like It was an under cooked bacon dipped in sweetness that somewhat crystallized. The texture was chewy and stringy. The only thing that textured right was the bits and pieces at the bottom of the bag. I can't say,it was a waste of money because I was curious about what all the hype was about it. The product received was nothing like the picture. The bacon jerky was just like any other store bought bacon jerky except with a bit of a sweet taste from the brown sugar. I could make this at home with store bought bacon jerky for a much cheaper cost.

To the point: Overpriced for the quantity, no sweetness, a tinge of something that makes it taste like charcoal lighter starter fluid was used in the cooking process; and the photo gives the appearance of sweet goodness. Gave it 2 stars because it encouraged me to make candied bacon myself. I am hoping they improve their product and pricing; and provide a product that is worth buying for people who don't want to make candied bacon for themselves. ... show more

It taste pretty good but it is small pieces it does not look like the photo. If you are wanting to use it in something fancy just remember it does not look like the photo.

Well, the picture on Amazon is deceiving but I took a chance and ordered. The product did not disappoint in taste but still not as glazed as the picture. Overall, the bacon is very good and not overly sweet. Will buy again.

Tastes good, but limp and too much fat, should be crisper to cook fat. This was limp. I would not buy again, too high priced, paid $14 - not awful though - definitely salty and sweet.
