  • Works great
Model name: New Model: PTH110
I don't know why I haven't had one of these all these years. My daughter swears by P-Touch to organize and I use masking tape and a Sharpie LOL. Anyway, the menu system is pretty straight forward, but read the manual first. Print quality is outstanding and if you buy OEM tape cassettes, the adhesive is just about perfect. I'm glad I have it now. ... show more

  • Bought this twice
Model name: New Model: PTH110
Simple effective. Easy to use and cost effective many other label makers aren't as modern or way more convulted than it should be and this is coming from someone with an engineering background dealing with tedious UIs and bad designs. So I highly recommend this you plug and play. Type print, many design, border and font options, you can easily just size too just amazing. Must buy ... show more

  • Convenient
Model name: New Model: PTH110 Bundle
This handheld label maker is both convenient and portable. After making labels on the computer for years, with the label paper not easily being removed, etc., this label maker has made me very happy! Labels are also water-resistant, so there isn't any ink running down the side of your soap or whatever you put it on. Easy to use, several functions available on it. Comes right off if you want to change position. One thing I'm concerned about is the price of the tape refills. I'm still on my first cartridge so price awaits judgement! Great product. ... show more

  • A Handy Label Maker With a Quirk: Keep It Flat for Best Results
Model name: New Model: PTH110
I recently picked up this Brother P-Touch Label Maker, PTH110 to help me keep track of electronic components while I'm prototyping or running experiments. I've always struggled with reading those resistor color codes, and squinting at the text on transistors just wasn't cutting it anymore. Slapping on a label turned out to be the perfect fix, especially when everything's spread out on my desk or on the breadboard. I went for this model thinking my needs were pretty basic, was I surprised! This little gadget has become my go-to for way more than I initially thought. It's super user-friendly, although a tad bulkier than I expected. Honestly, though, that's hardly a bother. Here's what I love about it: It's budget-friendly. It doesn't break the bank and still falls on the affordable side compared to other label makers. The labels are laminated, making them super durable. I've found that the label quality really depends on the label brand you use, but that's no biggie. The print resolution and font variety are just spot-on for what I need. It handles 6mm labels perfectly, which is great for the smaller stuff I'm working with. A few hiccups: Using the 6mm label tape can be tricky if you're not working on a flat surface. It tends to jam, which means I have to keep it on my desk while printing. Not a huge issue, but worth mentioning. It runs on 6 AAA batteries. I haven't had to change them yet, but I'm keeping an eye on how often I'll need to. Might look into getting some rechargeable ones. It didn't come with batteries or a wall adapter, so be ready to pick those up separately. I did find it odd that Brother's own adapter has reversed polarity, which seems like a ploy to get you to buy theirs. Any 9V DC adapter with at least 1A should work, as long as you watch the polarity. It does leave a bit of extra tape at the beginning and end of each label, which feels wasteful. Even though it might seem like there are quite a few cons, I genuinely like this label maker and would buy it again. I'm sharing these details to give you the full picture of my experience, hoping it helps you make a more informed decision. ... show more

  • Surprising good!
Model name: New Model: PTH110 Bundle
After struggling with my 25 year old PTouch 17, I got fed up & decided I needed something more reliable & with working options. I have only used it a couple of times so far & found that I need to read the instructions. At least it prints, it is more convenient them the PT 17 in that it is easier to carry to my projects as opposed to bring my projects to the printer. You get use to the key size which is not any smaller then my old PT. If I figure out how to work it there are more options for me. I like the larger size print which I did not have before. ... show more

  • It just does the job!
Model name: New Model: PTH110
That’s about the highest praise you can give a product like this. It’s simple to use, works as expected, and was nicely priced. You’ll find lots of uses for it. I label my seedling trays, put dates on food I’ve canned, label storage totes, and even label seed storage containers. This handy tool does everything I need it to. It jus works… ... show more

  • Use Chain Print to save tape
Model name: New Model: PTH110
I used to own an old and basic model Brother P touch that used the m Tape. I like this much better because there are many new features such as: saving text, 3 sizes (though the small is too small, and I'd like something a little bigger), preview, and border options. The only annoying thing is that it uses up a lot of tape especially on the left edge. To work around this, you can choose in the Menu: Margin, Chain Print. Tip: print everything you need, and then wait until the very end to choose "ok" to run the feed when you are ready to cut. If you don't run the feed, it will cut into your label. ... show more
