These are really comfortable. I like a lot of arch support. These are great. They are not hot because the air flows just right through them. My foot doesn't slide. I could easily go without socks, but I like small footies. The good thing is that the shoe above the socks is very soft and I didn't have any rubbing from the day I got them. I have worn them every day for more than a month and they are not stretching out at all. Super comfortable and seem like they will last a long time. There is one small downside. I’m a big Brooks fan and had an almost identical pair I had worn out from the daily walk. These absolutely destroyed my heels the first time I wore them…like I had to stop walking for about a week, and I usually walk between 4-7 miles per day. After the heels healed and the calluses were pretty serious, I tried again, and they’re fine. I’d say to be sure to tape your heels with KT tape or something until you know you have them fully broken in. I love these shoes now that I’ve broken them in. They were a little tight at first which is weird because I don’t have wide feet. It took about a week of wearing them and a blister but now they are fine and I wear them all the time!

I love Brooks. These just showed up this week and they are really nice. I gave it 4 stars because they are a bit narrow. I have a very narrow foot to begin with so if I feel like they are narrow that is saying something. I definitely have to wear a thin sock with them.
