First off, the item broken broken when it arrived, one of the ends had been knocked off. Second, the case is not as described on this item page! The case that arrived was made of particle wood/paper fiber with textured paper decal glued on like wallpaper, and and the lining is not as described or pictured, the lining was a cheap nylon/polyester satin finish material and yes it was purple, but it was like a brighter/lighter purple, almost a hot purple, which was okay, but still not as described. If it had only been the lining color that was not as described, I would have given it 4 stars. but the following description as on the item page; "1 butt 2 shaft Coffin style Box Case (there is no way 2 shafts will fit in this without damaging them). Colors: Black. Material: Hard proprietary plastic with silver VooDoo logo (turns out its particle wood/compressed paper board) . Pockets: Accessory pouch inside case (no accessory pouches). Carrying: Handle on the side of case (this was accurate, but i question its quality). Interior Lining: Purple crushed velvet (actually a bright purpl , almost hot pink, polyester/nylon satin fish material). Direction: Shaft goes in with tip facing the bottom of the case and the butt has the pin at the top of the case." I think this case is pretty nice but not perfect. A few imperfections with the velvet lining and the locks are Not high quality but for the price it's worth it.

This thing is a piece of crap. It was not crushed velvet but some cheap plastic feeling sateen. There were splits on the outside. The divider inside is stuck on with double sided tape and is coming off. And there are spot inside on the lid where the lining doesn't even go all the way to the edge. I was so excited when it came and I couldn't believe the disappointment I felt when I opened it. ... show more
