We bought this car seat for my first son (born March 2022) and all of the hospital staff were very impressed by how well constructed it is (he had to pass the car seat test after NICU admittance day 2 for jaundice). Purchased it again for our second son due December (couldn't pass up the July sale). It fit well in my small SUV (Subaru Crosstrek) and fits about the same in our mid-size SUV (Subaru Ascent) using a foam squat pad cut in half against the back of the seat since the seats angle down (necessary to achieve proper angle for squishy newborn, not necessary for toddler or once baby has trunk control). It's not "easy" to remove and re-install but it's also fairly straightforward once you do it the first time to manage the ClickTight. It is a large and heavy seat. We used a buckle carrier from birth since this is clearly not the kind of car seat you take out and click into a stroller but that was by choice - I didn't want him in the car seat any more than necessary as a squishy newborn due to possible positional asphyxiation. First son is still rear-facing, still maximally reclined (long torso and shorter legs haha), falls asleep in it on the regular, has slept in it for 2 hours on a recent road trip which speaks to its being pretty comfortable. ... show more

Absolutely love this car seat. It is HEAVY, so you don’t want to have to transfer this one from car to car, or travel with it (which I have done). But it’s very easy to install and it’s secure once in. Easy to grow with the child, which is a huge plus. I was recently in a wreck and had to buy a new car seat. This is the best car seat you could buy, we have two other brand car seats that are very hard to get tightened. This click tight system is the way to go. Seems very comfortable for my toddler and is very easy for me to move from one car to the next. Already had to take the cover off to wash it and it was easy to get off and back on. Best car seat would recommend to anyone! I spent a lot of time researching about car seats, about proper fitment, etc, and it ended up (admiringly not with these Britax seats) helping my kids survive a big accident. I had to replace the 3 car seats involved in the accident, and I got these Britax One4Life Slims after very careful consideration. After putting them in my new SUV I can say these have to be the easiest carseats to install with the car's seatbelts or with ISOFIX! The KILLER feature is the ClickTight mechanism which makes your life easy as far as making sure the seat is tightly secured, seatbelt or ISOFIX alike. It pretty much eliminates a lot of potential for user error, and makes the seats super tightly secured - they hardly move even if pushed with a lot of force. I am completely sold on these, and will be buying 3 more for use with our summer car in Europe. I definitely recommend them. ... show more

This is our second One 4 Life click right car seat and I absolutely love the seat. So easy to install, very secure, and kids seem to be very comfortable and happy in them. My only recommendation is to not buy this specific color way. This fabric feels different and not as comfortable as the all charcoal cool n’ dry we have for our older child.
