🚀 Abunda's Overview

This is our summary and key points to consider based on customer reviews.

The Brita Insulated Filtered Water Bottle has received mostly positive reviews for its high capacity, built-in filtration system, and sturdy construction. Users appreciate the superior taste and quality of the water, its portability, especially for gym use or outdoor activities. However, some customers feel that the product falls short on insulation and is bulky for travel.

Pros

  • 🥤Built-in filtration system improves the taste & quality of tap water
  • 💪 High capacity of 36 ounces, excellent for hydration
  • 🎒 Designed with an ergonomic handle making it handy for gym-goers
  • 🍼 BPA-Free and well-constructed material, built-to-last
  • 💵 Seen as a valuable investment considering the features.

Cons

  • ❄️ Insulation could be improved as it doesn't keep the water cold for all day
  • 🛄 A bit bulky, making it less suitable for light traveling or fitting into smaller bags
  • 🗓️ Filter requires monthly replacement, which adds a recurring cost
  • 💫 Exterior surface tends to pick up scratches easily, marring its appearance over time.

Should I Buy It?

If you prioritize a filtration system, sturdy design, and are not overly concerned about perfect insulation or bulkiness, then the Brita Insulated Filtered Water Bottle would be a solid choice. However, if insulation or portability for travel are top priorities, you might want to consider other options. Be aware that the filter needs to be replaced regularly, which will add to the running cost.

  • Favorite water bottle after trying many
Love this bottle - sip straw is normally covered by the top, for cleanliness. Hook on top is durable and makes it easy to carry bottle by hanging off a couple fingers. Does not leak! (This is a big deal, as many do). Taste of water is great. Size of bottle is good - holds enough for a workout but still fits in auto beverage holder. Plastic is strong yet doesn't emit plastic smell or taste. Flip cover works really well and has been durable. If you knock it over, even with top open, it doesn't leak all over the place. Filter straw is replaceable. Sip straw is great for drinking while driving (!) -- you don't have to "look" at where you are putting your mouth and it makes it very hard to spill water all over yourself by accidentally tipping up too far, or hitting bumps (which happens with other bottles that don't have straws) Only slight negative is that it isn't easy to client the rubber suck part of the straw. I stick my finger in there as deep as possible, and can feel it's a bit slimy, and I clean it the best I can. But am I really really reaching all of my slime? Would be great to come with a little sponge brush the fits in there well, for cleaning. ... show more

  • These are GREAT!!!
Being in the Keto lifestyle (yes, it is a lifestyle, not a diet), I do my best to drink at least 1-gallon of water per day. With the fact that tap water taste like dirt here in Texas, I have bought tons of bottled water. Drinking 10-12 bottles per day, I started thinking about how much plastic I was adding to the environment, which isn't good. When I saw this item, I was super skeptical that it would make the "dirt" water taste like the refreshing Ozarka that I was accustomed to, but I bought it anyway. After using it for two days, I can tell you that it most definitely does just that. At 26oz per fill, it has also helped me to reach the goal of 1-gallon per day with ease. I highly recommend the product for those who want great tasting water straight out of the tap ... even those of us in Texas!!! ... show more

  • It Really Works!
The water tastes much cleaner after drinking from it, though it still tastes a little like tap water. Like, it tastes clean for sure, but I can tell if I filled it up with water from home or from school because I can still sort of taste the tap. But it for sure is so much cleaner! I've had it for a couple months and it hasn't leaked at all-and trust me, I've dropped it. Also easy to clean since the straw detaches from the lid & you can pop the filter out to wash with soap (really easy to do, and it comes with instructions). All around a great purchase, and I can't think of a better water bottle! ... show more

  • Great bottle with one weakness
This is a great filter bottle design with a decent not-to-small, not-to-big capacity. Carrying loop is handy, and the range of colors keeps them from being mixed up. The catch is the spring loaded claw that clips to the inside of the lid when you close it. If full, you have the all the weight baring on this locking lip of the lid, carried from the loop. Over time, these WILL break, then you have a bottle that will no longer close. The plastic lid is routed out inside for the clip, and this makes that edge weak. We otherwise love these bottles, but after a year or so, more than one has broken here. I've told Brita about the needed design change, and they did stand behind they product. I just know this one will break down the road too. ... show more

  • My most essential accessory.
I was not a big water drinker. As a matter of fact I was chronically dehydrated and I would actually say I hated water. I drank a lot of diet soda. I started having very bad leg cramps and was told that it was the constant dehydration and I had to find a way to drink water. One of my coworkers came in with one of these Brita water bottles and I loved the simplicity of it I loved that the water would be filtered and I wouldn't be wasting plastic and above all I love that there's a cap that flips over the top so you're strong stays clean and it doesn't get dust or dirt or germs on it. I had gotten a gift card and decided to splurge and buy one bottle for myself and one for my son and I am so glad that I did. It has become my constant accessory. It's always in my hands it's always full I must use six bottles of water a day easily and now when I don't have it I actively look for water I hardly drink soda anymore at all and I'm creating so much less waste The only thing that needs to replaced is the filters. That's why I'm here today and I decided to drop this review. My only complaint is that I feel like it's a little small but that also might be the reason that I find it so convenient to carry so it's a small cross to bear. The other thing that I noticed is that there tends to be a lot of air in the initial sips of water when you first fill it up I mean there's a carbon filter that it has to go through and there's going to be air pockets in there I understand but after the first few sips it's fine and I feel like the draw is a little difficult at first but again you're pulling through a filter it's going to be a little bit of a difficult draw. ... show more

  • Disney World Savior!
Hey! Someone recommended I bring a filter water bottle to Walt Disney World and so I bought one on amazon. HOLY COW this saved me. I am not picky with water at all but the night I got there I took a shower and smelled something strange. I thought it was the soap at first... it was this really STRONG smell of like salt water or swamp land... well the next day in the park while filling up my water bottle I closed the lid and just took a drink from the fountain before moving on and I almost did a spit take... straight up like a movie scene. I did not plan to buy any drinks at Disney... just fill up my water... so I was panicked thinking this weekend was instantly going to become more expensive... but YA’LL... this water bottle was a Godsend!! It made the water taste perfect!! No issue at all. Highly recommend!! ... show more

  • You have to suck hard
Difficult to clean and filter stains the straw over time. Should come with or offer a straw cleaner for this.
