They are nice and round and fly like they should and they also glow in the dark. Playing ping pong in the dark is not very easy by the way. Even with glow in the dark balls. Sure it is a novelty item but its fun. I will admit I originally got these for my girl cat who loves batting them up against the wall, usually at night in the dark. She has a blast. No the glow does not last a super long time, but its enough for her to get tired of it. They get some good bounce off the walls and she is thoroughly entertained On the other side, my husband took 3 of them to use at our table and they have good bounce. We cannot play a whole game in the dark unless we have the others being charged and rotate them out, but we have fun starting out that way. TLDR: Cool ping pong balls but not sure about glowing so far! I have tried a small flashlight on them and the glow just wasn’t impressive, nor did it last long at all. I do think that using a black light may change that, at least I hope so! I do have one but it’s hard to get to at the moment, I’ll pull it out next time we play and try to update my review then. The balls themselves seem sturdy, and do seem to be the correct size! They have a nice light bounce and I like them in general. I just really wanted the glow in the dark aspect to really pop! So I hope that happens with the black light, if not I’m not sure that these are great for the price but we will see! ... show more

Our teenage cousins got a ping pong table late last year. We saw these and thought they’d really have some fun with these and we were right. We coupled this with the Brightz LED Net Lights. We kept the balls under a bright light for about 5 minutes before turning out the lights and playing. They stayed playably light for about 3-5 minutes, before we’d swap out for a “fresh” fully glowing ball we’d keep in the next room with the light. It works best if you have them under a more intense light like a direct lamp, etc. as opposed to simply having them sit in a lighted room. After 10-12 minutes, you could “find” them in total dark, but they wouldn’t be playable. Fun novelty item and play fairly well. They are a bit pricey given the fact that ping pong balls in general don’t last that long, at least with teenage boys, however, it is a fun item to use when changing it up a bit. ... show more

We have a ping pong table in our basement and these balls will take our games to a new level. They are regulation sized. Comes in a pack of 6. I first tried it under direct fluoroescent lighting and held it for about 15 seconds and literally held it under the light to the point where it's touching the cover/housing of the light and then went to a dark room and was disappointed with the results that I won't even bother posting pics. I then tested it under LED lighting, although ambient room lighting and didn't actually hold it directly under the light & it yielded the same results. I retested the fluroescent lights but held it longer and got mildly improved results. I then tested it with my phone camera and shined the light directly on the balls and eureka, the balls were ready for their camera shot & boy did it yield great results (and with only ~ 15 seconds of light shining on it) - pic attached. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this set and even happier they're made in the USA! These would make great gifts for kids or stocking stuffers. ... show more

I've been playing ping pong casually with friends for years; we usually set up a table in the backyard on summer nights. I stumbled upon these glow in the dark balls and thought they'd be perfect for our evening games lol. They are standard size and weight (40mm), so they play just like regular balls; the only difference is they glow a bright green after being "charged" under a light. The glow effect lasts long enough for plenty of rallies. The balls themselves seem durable and have held up well to our spirited play (no cracking or splitting so far). If you want to add a fun twist to your ping pong games, especially in low light conditions, these are a great option. ... show more
