It works, you can hear that it works, It's very loud. After a few weeks of operation it began causing issues with the USB Ports and power issues began to crop up. Removing the device fixed all of the issues.

This fan just attaches to the back of the ps5 slim version, and it does not take anything away, it has a USB port to make up for the one it consumed. The fan works well and bright blue LED lid so you can easily tell it’s on from a distance; the fan will turn on with the PS 5 unit and shuts off as it’s powered by the USB port, the default rest mode will provide 3 hours of power after entering rest mode, so change to turn off usb power immediately if you want the fan to turn off with the PS entering rest mode. In addition, the fan will turn on and goes into strong mode, press the button once if you want the weak mode (less noise). As for noise level, yes, this fan is loud compare to those expensive silent computer fans, but given the price, it’s reasonable and does the job well. The only shortcoming is that the white color of this fan does not match the white color of the PS5 unit, but did not a deal breaker. ... show more

We have our PS5 in a TV stand that's not well ventilated. This cooler is super easy to install and has a spot in the back that allows use of the I/O. The speed is great and the fans keep the PS5 super cool!

Fit nice and flush to the back of my PS5 slim. Has multiple fans and has a USB port to replace the one being used by it. The fans have nice speed to it and keeps my system cool. The design makes it look like it was part of the PS5. This is a great product to keep a very expensive system cool. The media could not be loaded. I bought this a couple of weeks ago as added air movement for my PS five. On day 2 of using it, the fans started making this noise upon powering up. And it has done it ever since. Doesn’t affect the cooling potential that it has and it doesn’t overheat by shutting itself off. Just make some noise for about a minute when you first turn it on otherwise it’s fine. ... show more
