Description

At BreathableBaby, safety is first, last, and everything in between. That's why we have invested countless hours into medical and scientific research to make our products safer. We invented and perfected the Breathable Mesh Liner. Too many babies get their arms or legs stuck in between slats, which can be painful for babies – not to mention scary and exhausting. So we created the mesh liner to simply and safely solve the problem. The original breathable mesh liner with millions sold since 2002. Unlike padded bumpers, our mesh liners keep little limbs safely inside without the risk of restricted airflow. BreathableBaby is all about helping caregivers feel confident and in control – and get some sleep! Simple. Smart. Safe Sleep. Only from BreathableBaby, of course.

  • Safest “bumper” out there!
Color: Ecru
I panicked one night when our newborn son had his foot stuck in between the crib slats. After a lot of research, this seemed like the safest product. It took 10 minutes max to tie it on. He’s 6 months now and rolls around. This product is breathable if he gets his face against it and it protects his little arms and legs from getting stuck again. ... show more

  • Safe all around!
Color: Light Pink
These crib liners were a Godsend! I had my first child when everyone was starting to lose their minds about crib bumpers being a possible cause of SIDS or suffocation. My very active baby liked to get her little chubby legs stuffed through the slats in her crib. She couldn't get them out on her own, so she would scream until I could get to her to get them out. Sometimes she had them jammed in so far that it took me a little bit. She was a wiggle worm. After 3 times of her getting her legs stuck though the slats, I started searching for something that would keep her from getting stuck, but wouldn't suffocate her if she rolled under them. This set of crib liners was perfect. The mesh is similar to a laundry bag, not big enough to get little fingers stuck in, but big enough to breathe though if she got her face stuck against them. I ordered them in pink, and the were a very pale shade of pink. They are washable, I always washed them on delicate. They lasted through both of my children, and were still good enough to take to the resale shop when my little one stopped using her crib. ... show more

  • Binky Barrier
Color: Ecru
Perfect for keeping our 1-year-olds pacifiers from flying out of the crib in 2.5 seconds. got tired of having to fish for pacifiers under the crib every morning, and since he is over a year old, I felt relatively comfortable putting a breathable bumper on the crib... Also, I ordered the ecru and in my opinion it is a much nicer option to pure white, it actually looks similar in color to our white crib. ... show more

  • Returned
Color: Light Pink
I purchased this crib liner for my standard size crib. I tried following the install instructions included but, in my opinion, it cannot be installed in a safe manner. Each piece only comes with a Velcro strip on each end and three small ribbons to secure to crib. From what I can tell, there is no way to secure the bottom edge of the liner and no way to keep the ribbons from sliding down unless you’re attaching them to the very top rail. The fabric is thin and very floppy/flexible. Therefore, it folds and flops into the crib without staying upright. I tried weaving it through the rails also, but it still slid up and down. To me, this creates more of a hazard than protection. I think there would be a way to safely secure it, but I don’t won’t to take on a major craft project trying to get it done. Will be returning. ... show more

  • Baby is safe in her crib
Color: Light Pink
I bought these crib liners before my baby was born, but didn't end up installing them until she was about 5 months old and moving around in the crib. I was worried about her little arms or legs getting stuck between the slats as the spun in circles at night. To make them breathable, these are not padded like traditional bumpers. My baby is now 9 months old and crawls all over the crib, even bumping her head on the slats, and she never seems hurt or bothered by it, so I don't think all that padding is necessary anyways, and clearly unsafe. I felt that these sagged a bit when I installed them, despite my best attempts to get them tight and snug. To fix this problem, on the long portion of the crib, I weaved them through the slats (2) extra times (similar to the way they are woven through the corners in the picture of the item). This just gave the liner a little extra support and preventing the sagging. There are also little ties on the outside of the liner that I believe also are supposed to help it from sagging. When I installed these, I accidentally installed one of them with the ties up and one with the ties down. I wish I had installed both with the ties down, because my baby now reaches through the slats above the liner and plays with the ties. I need to flip them to be down, I just haven't gotten around to it. Overall I am very happy. I feel like my babies arms and legs are safe in the crib without the risk of those padded bumpers ... show more

  • Wonderful investment
Color: Ecru
Wonderful investment Our daughter would constantly toss (knowingly or unknowingly) her pacifiers out of the crib, resulting in the crying wake up at X hour of night. This thing prevents her from accidentally tossing the pacis out of her crib. It's a nice mesh material, so we didn't have any concerns of breathability. It was also tall enough for what we needed. We haven't had any issues with it falling down and it seemed pretty easy to set up. Our baby doesn't climb it or pull at it, so I can't comment on people saying it doesn't stay up. Although I will say, the material seems strong, and the velcro as well. I think it could withstand some light tugging, but full baby weight pulling down might cause some issues. ... show more

  • Easy and Breathable, but prevents your kiddo from bumping their head!
Color: Lavender
Love these! There are no instructions to install, which was sort of annoying, but we figured it out. Honestly this came just in the nick of time, because my daughter has decided she now likes to sleep with her face against the bumpers, which would normally send me over the edge but since we have these, it’s less stressful ... show more
