I love this for my son. We use it to practice his handwriting skills. We lost the stylus that came with it two years ago and reached out to company recently to see if it could be replaced. They were very nice and sent us another writing tablet! Don’t hesitate to purchase this for your child.

Purchased one for an older preschooler, and ended up purchasing a second one for her younger sibling so they'd stop fighting over it. It is very lightweight, surprisingly sturdy, and the coin battery is continuing to last into the second year of use. The kids seem to enjoy it. I like that the stylus is connected to the tablet so that it doesn't get lost. However, the one drawback is that the stylus is also very pointy, so I would advise caution as to the type of child it is given to, and probably a word to all children about not pointing it at someone or running with it. ... show more
