I've got a 2002 Toyota Tacoma that I've done a lot of modifications to and install these on the front bumper so I can go on long road trips and have the benefits of bright auxiliary lights or something I could use for going off-road into the mountains at night. I removed the factory turn signals and installed these in their place and use them recently on a road trip coming back from Arizona to washington. Going over a mountain pass between Carson City, NV and Redding, California at night recently, these absolutely kept me safe because of black ice that was on the roadway. My night vision is not that great anymore after I had a case of retinopathy back in 2018 that caused scar tissue on my retinas so it makes it hard for me to see in the dark. You could get something similar for quite a bit more from an off-road Center or car audio store but these were very helpful on my trip and at only a fraction of the cost. ... show more

If you want that off-road look and feel, and live in the country, and don't want to hit a deer, THESE LIGHTS ARE A MUST FOR YOU! I put them on a BACKRACK, and they are awesome! They are also even more helpful to flashing at the super slow drivers in the left lane...they move over really quick!

The fog version uses white LEDs and the lens is clear yellow. They are Super Duper bright! WOW. The spot beam is approximately 10 degrees. Perhaps too focused for my liking, but we will see how they work with our intense fog here in Oregon. The only negative thing is the outer edge of the lens is recessed from the front bezel. I like the lights I wish they were a tad brighter I've got a $30 lighter that's about equally bright but I likee them. heads up! tighten the little alien bolts around he edge before you get water.
