  • Great for film aficionados
Style: Poorly Explained Movies
I got this as a gift for my nephew. It was nicely packaged and he said it’s fun to play.

  • "Stop feeding me tomatoes"
Style: Misunderstood Songs
Years ago, my son kept singing those words and I thought it was a song he had made up until one day the Carly Simon song came on the radio and he blissfully began singing "Stop feeding me tomatoes" to the tune. Then I realized what he should have been singing was, "It's the stuff that dreams are made of". What a laugh we had while trying to convince him of the correct words. This boxed set of cards makes a game of the wrong words that are sometimes sang instead of the correct ones. Just reading the incorrect lyics has given my husband and I so many laughs as well as bringing back memories of songs, times and places that had been hiding for years. The game comes with instructions that are easy to follow and quite funny themselves. The idea of the game is to give the correct lyrics to the song after hearing the incorrect words. Knowing the artist and name of the song get extra points. It can be played with 2 to 10 players. Songs were popular from 1963 to 2022. Reading the wrong lyrics outloud to others is good for a hearty and long laugh. My favorite incorrect lyric in the game so far is "two chickens to paralyze". LOL Did Eddie Money ever imagine his song would be sung this way? I doubt it! lol (Correct words are "two tickets to paradise".) My husband has memory issues so we've created our own rules. He gets to keep the card if he can come up with the artist, song name or correct words. He's having so much fun while working his brain muscles. Great fun, easy to play and the box with cards is small enough to be taken on long trips to while away the hours. I just love this game and highly recommend it to music buffs or anyone who just wants to have a good laugh. ... show more

  • Excellent Game For Music Geeks

This cute little game was a huge hit with all of my Music friends. Fun concept and super easy to understand. Definitely a must have for game night to mix things up from the classics!

  • Fun game but only one or two play throughs

Fun game but limited uses because you'll know what's in there!

  • Some of these 'misheard lyrics' are a bit of a stretch
Style: Misunderstood Songs
I was a little skeptical that you could make a whole game out of misheard lyrics, and I guess I was right. Some of these are just ridiculously out there and don't even sound anything like the original lyrics, but there's a fair amount as well that I could definitely see. Ultimately, the wider range of musical knowledge you have going into this game the better off you'll be. I do like that there are different ways that you can play the game, for example, awarding extra points if you can name the artist as well. It's a fun game to play to pass the time, but probably wouldn't recommend making it the main feature of your game nights. ... show more

  • Unique & Fun Game
Style: Misunderstood Songs
My wife and I played this game with my parents when they came over to visit. We're from different generations with different music exposure, knowledge, and interest. Even so, we all were engaged during the game, had some laughs, and we all were able to correctly identify various correct lyrics. It's a good game to have as an alternative to some of our other games which range from intense to bland. This game will is our new go-to when we have friends or family over for a game night. ... show more

  • Fun Game
Style: Misunderstood Songs
Some of these are a stretch I think. However, after playing for a while you realize that you can some what slow down your words and say it slowly and sometimes figure out what the song you are trying to figure out. One thing we ended up doing after playing for a while was just play as a group and not really play it as a game. There were four of us and very quickly we began to just read random cards and take time reading them. There was a wide range of ages of us playing (30-70) and we still found some of the songs obscure or too new for us. ... show more

  • So much fun and laughter!
Style: Misunderstood Songs
My husband and I are song fanatics so this game has been right up our alley! Love that this has different levels with a couple different ways to play so you can keep challenging yourselves and increasing the difficulty a little if you are REALLY into songs. We have laughed so much at the lyrics and guessing these. While it's just my husband and I that can really play this and get into it, because our kids don't know many of these- this would hands down be a fun game to play with friends! ... show more
