After mounting and inserting a bulb I noticed I could not get the bulb back out because the socket was loose. If this happens remove the top 3 screws to gain better access to the loose socket. This allowed me to get enough finger pressure on the ceramic socket to remove the bulb and reassemble the socket to the post. Yes I tried to remove the nut in the rear. It was too tight and I could not get a grip on the post even with vice grips. Overall the quality is good though. Slightly different translucent color than the one I bought a year ago though. Original, 2018: Not bad. Placed Led bulbs in them. Easy to change bulbs which is reason for purchase. A little thin, the deer and pine tree cutouts are thin. The 4 glass pieces are weakly set in with some type of latex caulk. A little weak but doing the job. Should be stronger for the money. But I do like the looks of them. I have 2 deer and 2 pine patterns. I have 4 front lights, I installed them every other one to break it up. Again, looks good, but I have doubts on longevity. Good luck. UPDATE, 6-9-21: Down from 3 stars to 1 star. Moved the bulb a little inside, slight push, and the fixture electrical POPPED. 1 of 4 gone in about 3.5 years. I will replace it to match the others. If they pop again, I will get 4 lights at HD for less than 1 of these. They will not be as pretty, but cheaper to replace. These should be forever units. Only leaving 1 star as they should not electrical fail. Only warrantied 1 year which is weak for about 150 per fixture. It should have a 5 year warranty. ... show more

This sconce looks great on the landing of my stairs! It is great quality and adds a little extra character to my house. Definitely worth the money. I looked at similar sconces at home improvement stores that were less than half the price, but this one is noticeably better quality. My only piece of advice is to check the dimensions because it was a tad bit bigger than I expected. ... show more

My husband just installed two of these this week. We had to remove wall paper, patch and.paint before we could put them up. We are so pleased with them. They are large but we have a large room, so they are not overwhelming. They add a touch of class to the room. It looks like a lodge resort, which is the look we were going for. I knew I liked the fixture but didn't imagine how much of an improvement they would be over much smaller sconces that they replaced. We painted the room a mint green and it compliments these lights. This light is beautiful and easy to install - IF you notice the two outer screws that allow you to attach the outer shell after you install the glass panes. Otherwise you may find your husband cursing up a storm trying to put the glass in after he put the light up : )

I Love this light. The quality is good, looks perfect in the hallway with a dim bulb as a nightlight. I leave it on a lot because I love looking at it. It does look good turned off as well, just not as pretty.
