I wouldn’t be able to use this for like a living room area rug floor but I use these for my children. My daughter has one under her playhouse so she has a soft pink fuzzy floor inside it. They probably work better on carpet or underneath a piece of furniture. I also have one under my storage bench and one under an accent chair. They easily move around the floor the backing isn’t great and personally don’t think it would stay in place even with a carpet gripper under it ... show more

I only just recieved the mat. Packaging was ridiculous. Super taped although in an already air tight package- inside another taped box but 5 starts for security! Beautiful color, incredible soft but incredibly thin. Does slide on floor. Get a pad for underneath! I placed this on top of another cheap bathmat in my bathroom for the shower walkway. Will the shag shed?? Not sure how it will work in bathroom(moisture) but definitely super super soft. Am buying again for office.
