    • Not for petite frames
I already own a different set of boxing bands, and I have to say... they all come with their pluses and minuses. I got this one for one reason: the design of the hand straps. The design on my other set leaves a lot to be desired, but this one delivers: the straps are nice and stable, and they can be used with or without gloves. That being said, they are obviously designed with someone with larger hands than me in mind (which is no surprise), but they are workable. While I am very happy with the hand straps, I am underwhelmed with the rest of this set. The design of the foot straps is not the best, which is kind of strange because good foot straps are pretty easy to find - I am not sure if my problem with them is that again, these seem to be designed with someone way larger than me in mind, or if there is some more fundamental flow in the design. Still, I cannot seem to make them sit securely in place. It's not like they don't work, but frankly, I've seen much better designs. It might work better for you if you are physically larger than I am (I have a petite 5'2" frame, and am small overall). The bands come without a fabric cover, which seems to be pretty standard nowadays for similar sets. This brings me to the main issue, in my opinion, with this set: most similar sets come with either a belt or a harness, to use your core as the reference for the resistance bands. This set has decided to bypass this part, and just use bands around the body. This makes for a very different experience, which so far I have found annoying - the bands just move too much, especially if you are on the shorter side, which will cause the bands to lose tension throughout movements. I think overall this set could work much better for you if you are larger than I am - for me, it just feels like I got something that is the totally wrong size for my body. I can still get a workout with it, and I can attest to similar sets giving good results, so I think it would work if it fits your body. I also really appreciate the hand straps, but I see keeping them to use with my other set. Both hand and foot straps look very well-made, whereas the elastic tubes seem pretty standard. At the current price of $100, it is also double the price of similar sets, without really seeing why. ... show more

    • These bands work, but feel awkward
I've used these a few times in my training and, while they work, I just don't feel compelled to use them. Which is quite odd for me. When I find a good training tool, I'm all over it. To me, they feel just a bit awkward. The power curve to limb movement is off. That's really all I can say. I'm just not motivated to use them consistently. 3 stars. This is a really nice set with good design for the wrist and ankle straps. Although it would have been handy for some actual directions on how the straps were supposed to attach to the ankles, it took me a minute to figure that one out. The bands do offer a good amount of freedom of movement and a good resistance to create a healthy workout. I will say if you have smaller ankles the straps barely Velcro. It does have the ability to connect at several points to adjust a workout. The bands are nice and the finished ends are done well so there are no ends sticking out to catch. It would be nice to have a belt that you could have another attachment point to, or also some other variable sized straps. One size does not always fit all. The quality seems nice, but the price does seem a bit steep for what you get. I think there are definitely some places to improve and to add to this set to justify the higher price. Overall, the set is pretty good and the workout is good, but just a couple of things could make it great. ... show more

    • Increases Resistance for a Serious Workout
This device works with shadow boxing or hitting the bag. It has the two options to create resistance from your feet and/or from around your back. Either way or both, it provides a workout quickly that you can grow into. It takes a minute to set up on your feet and wrists. The bands serve their purpose well and will require discipline to use.
