I had one before this but lost it on a bus ride in Vegas. Horrible FLIXBUS, but that's another story. Anyway, I had to quickly get another one to replace the lost one and needless to say, I go everywhere with my BOSE Soundlink Revolve Portable Bluetooth speaker. The sound coming out of this thing is absolutely delightful. Relaxes you and you hear every single tingle in the sound mix. Awesome. If you're considering a portable Bluetooth speaker anytime soon, I'd definitely recommend this one. Oh, and one more thing. LOVE THIS PRODUCT SO MUCH! We've had these for about 2 years now and they work so great! Battery is awesome, lasts for over a week off the charger being used often and updates you on its battery level every time you turn it on. I dropped one of them and it just got a bit of a scuff on the bottom, no other damage. We have them by the pool often and they get splashed a lot, but they've had no change in sound quality or battery life. My dad actually just bought another set because he loves them so much! Definitely recommend for people keeping them by the pool, outside, or traveling with them. They are so loud and crisp and resilient. ... show more

Was searching for a sound loud enough that I did not have to drag it with me around the house. Love this brand and think the sound is better than I could imagine for the size. I put it in a cabinet when not in use. When I press “on,” it tells me the battery charge percentage. Nice!

    • Almost, but not Quite - The controls SUCK! Amazon Return may be PAINFUL!

The sound quality is considerably better than comparable units of the same size. I combed many sites to come up with this one. The specs give this model version some extra features over its past ones (wi-fi, etc).. However, the user interface controls suck. After you turn it on, you have no choice but to listen to "Hold down the source button to select English" — every last single time. I've held down the source button dozens of times now. After repeatedly convincing it that I speak English, it then repeatedly announces that it's "waiting to connect." Why wait? So far it's never automatically connected to any device. It won't shut up, it just keeps making annoying announcements. To actually connect the device (windows), you have to go into bluetooth settings every single time, even after it's been paired (because it doesn't automatically connect). Then once you've gone through the connection BS, there's an additional verification prompt that pops up (slightly off the screen). Every single time, I have to verify that, yes, I really do want to connect to the speaker (that's what I bought it for after all). To turn it off, you have to hold the power button for at least 20 seconds. It fake turns off, if you just press it once, i.e. it randomly keeps announcing things all night while you're trying to sleep. The buttons aren't backlit, and the icons are small, I often press the wrong button which causes more painful interactions. I'd love to be able to just tell it to shut up. Honestly, for $362, this state of affairs is completely unacceptable. Update: I've made the big decision to return the speaker that I ordered on Amazon Prime, as in "free returns within 30-days." Instead of the usual print a UPS label and drop it off at "convenient" UPS location. Amazon instead offered some sketchy college campus drop off locker, where I can just bet that there's absolutely no receipt provided (for when it goes missing). ... Why would Amazon want to risk not having a record of having received the item ... strange. The next best option was UPS pickup, but unless you are blessed by the gods, UPS won't be changing its policy of not picking up packages from home residences. Not even, if you spend three hours on the phone to try and find this out — UPS customer service feels like throwing yourself down the stairs repeatedly. Strange, why would Amazon offer a service that isn't actually available ... with a limited 30-day return window running ... Finally, after talking in circles with an Amazon rep, who behaved a lot like a fortune teller machine, in that he would only offer two options, I learned that my request for a "UPS drop off label with tracking" would only be met by a postage unpaid mailing label that had a barcode on it and nothing else. Free returns? Finally, after first rep used the old "I have no way of transferring you to a supervisor" (not quite as evolutionary as transferring me to their friend "the supervisor" in the next cubicle), I called support instead. After the usual thumb screws, I was transferred to supervisor, and the magical "Kohl's Drive It There Yourself, You Fool!" option was unveiled. No one at Amazon could explain why I was being tortured over this BIG BRAND return, strange. So yeah, painless returns right? Nope. I guess there are certain landmine objects like this one that require a pound of flesh. ... show more

This is a nice speaker sounds good but compared to my mini sound link bar it’s no match. I think sound quality in mini sound link is next best to the wave. Unfortunately the wave is not made Bluetooth compatible yet! I do not need it to be portable, 360 sound (it’s backed to a wall) nor do I need it to be waterproof. I primarily use this speaker when I’m working out. I like to get lost in my music. It does turn up nicely but wish it had a little bit more depth to it sound As for the battery so far it’s fantastic if you’re looking for a long life battery this is the speaker! ! It’s been charged once since I bought it (5 weeks ish) as of today it still has 40% battery. I use it roughly 45-60 minutes 5 /6 days a week. Speaker I was replacing only lasted 40 minutes while plugged into a wall! ... show more
