Sony this, Bose that, these headphones are fine. They're better than earbuds and you don't have to spend your whole savings on headphones. I chose Bose cuz they were cheaper than Sony (when I bought them 2 years ago). Sound quality is nice, comfortable, and noise cancelation works pretty well. I'll be on a busy bus or a plane and the headphones do a good job in blocking outside sounds. Although I'm not an audiophile, I'm a normal person who enjoys these headphones. For battery life, 100% can last you a few days without a single charge. Quality is still there after 2 years, would recommend and buy again ... show more

I should say I am writing this review on the basis of just one trip with these wonderful headphones. I left them on the plane and despite reporting it immediately, and two weeks of "we're looking" auto-emails/texts, I never saw them again. However, I did give them a good workout during that (international) trip and I found them to be an excellent update to my original set, comfortable, easy to operate and amazing noise cancelation and base notes. I liked them so much I bought another pair (not from amazon) to replace them, but those were lightly used -- still, an excellent set. I love the sound of Bose (I have their soundbar as well) and the headphones, especially the lovely midnight blue, are stylish and swanky. ... show more

I bought these for travel overseas and they worked just fine on those long flights. However, I live in a condo unit that constantly has construction or landscaping noise going on and I have found in the past year how truly valuable my purchase was. I can BT them into my Mac and phone and NOT have to listen to the drills and the saws and leaf blowers and hammer pounding and the lawn mowers too-noisy sounds while I am able to be home in the day. One of the best investments I've made for myself like, in ever. Oh yes, they're comfortable to wear for hours, they work great -- sound quality is wondeful and I'm able to move about my house and still listen to computer commentary!, the headphones charge quickly, and the accessories are all useful and proper. ... show more

These headphones are beyond amazing. Not only the sound but the noise canceling, the comfort and they stay charged for 24 hrs. Usually after wearing headphones, my ears are sore, I've worn these for 4-6 hours at a time and SO comfortable, not sore at all. Luckily they fit my head perfectly because they aren't very adjustable, so if you have a small head or a kid not sure if this would work but absolutely worth the money and thankfully they have payment plans. Huge fan of Bose, nothing better. Especially if your obsessed with music like myself. Best investment. Highly recommend these and Bose in general. ... show more

I’ve tried other headphones and most are either too heavy or too tight and causes my ears to heat up really easily. I can’t last more than five minutes on a pair of average headphone. This one started out clamping a bit too tight for me, but after about a week of wearing (and stretching it over the case when not in use) it became the perfect fit for me, and I can wear it for hours without discomfort which is an absolute first for me. If I had to say a con it would be noise blocking. This one deals with static sounds really well (i.e plane engine, general atmospheric noise) but higher pitched talking, someone’s loud keyboards nearby, it doesn’t do as good of a job blocking. However, still a great noise canceling headphone for most people. Recommended for people who find normal headphones too heavy or too tight. ... show more

    • FANTASTIC HEADPHONES (with one frustrating flaw)

The sound quality and comfort are both A+, but I'm writing this to add my voice to the chorus of otherwise-satisfied customers BEGGING Bose to please remove the "two connections at once" feature. It sounds like it would only be mildly inconvenient at worst, but trust me, it's not - it's a terrible horrible, useless feature that frustrates me every single time I try to use these headphones. They somehow manage to connect to any device apart from the one I'm trying to use. Every. Single. Time. It's bad enough that, despite absolutely LOVING these headphones in every other respect, I won't buy Bose again if this feature remains when I eventually need to replace these. It's that bad. Seriously, who asked for this? What possible benefit could there be? It can't actually play from two devices at once, so there's literally no upside here. It's just a pointless, frustrating "feature" that feels more like a defect. All that said, if you only intend to connect these to two devices or less, you'll never notice, and I recommend these headphones without hesitation. If you plan on regularly using 3+ devices though? Just a heads up: you will have to wrestle with them for roughly two minutes each and every time you turn them on. I needed a set of noise-cancelling headphones to help me focus in my busy office and these do the job well. I use them every day. The only complaint I have is that the noise-cancelling function takes a while to get used to when you first start using them (it kind of feels like your ears are popping) and sometimes it doesn't completely cancel out people's voices if they're talking loudly around you.
