    • Solid and useful
I use this product almost exclusively with a 45° chamfer but for the edges of plywood boards, and it’s working very well. The machine is solid and weighty enough to allow it to be easy to handle, but not so heavy it’s hard to use. It runs well and does not get hot, and the face plate is smooth and doesn’t leave scratches in my wood. A few things that don’t work perfectly - saw dust gets very easily trapped between the face plate and the body of the router. This isn’t a problem for functionality yet, but eventually I will have to clean it out before it starts to prevent accurate results. Also, the measuring system is not completely precise. There is a “micro-measuring” adjustment knob that helps to get things perfect, but it’s difficult to adjust the main measurement because of the twist-and-lock feature of the mechanism. Overall, I use it and it accomplishes what I need just fine. If I needed something very precise, I would probably spend extra to get a machine that could do it, but this router is a great price and works well for precise, but not overly precise, projects. ... show more

    • Great little router
There's a bit of a learning curve but as a homeowner it does everything I've needed it to. The best part is that it's corded so I don't have to worry about discontinued batteries making it obsolete. Bought a nice set of Skil bits to go with it for 70 bucks.
