  • Works great for digging
Style: SDS Max Clay Spade Size: 17 In.
Wished I learned of this tool a couple decades ago! Digging holes are the most laborious & boring task ever! This tool is fantastic! Now I look for excuses to go dig. Very sturdy & well built digging spade. For digging holes in clay, loam, soil ᵂ/light rocks, etc., this will last well into the future. Highly recommend. ... show more

  • This is NOT compatible with Bosch 11255VSR
Style: SDS Max Clay Spade Size: 17 In.
This was an AMAZON CONFIRMED FIT for my Bosch 11255VSR. However, it's an SDS MAX shank and not compatible with an SDS PLUS Rotary hammer drill. Great product, well built. Just not compatible. There are adapters to use SDS PLUS shanks on SDS MAX Drills, but there are no adapters I could find to use SDS MAX shanks on SDS PLUS drills. I even called BOSCH to confirm. I wish it worked, it's very well made... but definitely not compatible with an SDS PLUS sized rotary hammer drill. ... show more

  • Gets the job done
Style: SDS Max Flat Chisel Size: 18 In.
I used this made in China chisel for breaking up some real smooth river rock buried in the ground while digging holes for Sonotubes. While it gets the job done, I noticed the the leading edge had worn out rather more than I expected as opposed to the old made in Germany ones. Sign of the times I guess. ... show more

  • So much better than the HD $20 version!
Style: SDS Max Floor Scraper Size: 25 In.
Holy cow this thing is awesome! our old one: We purchased a smaller version at HD for $20 last year when we had to remove a 5x8 space of tile for a pantry. My husband's back was killing him from bending over in practically a hunched kneel and the project took him 3 days of backbreaking labor. And it made so much dust! the cement glue stuff didn't come off at all and the cement was left uneven with many dings left in it. It was horrible. The blade was more like a dull thick piece of metal and the handle was only about 5 inches. The new one: We used the 6x12 inch scraper that we bought from amazon the day we received it. We had to remove 6 1 foot tiles to expand our kitchen cabinets. I half way expected the tile scraper to be as big as a pain and mess as our previous one, but thankfully, I was wrong. In about 10 minutes or less me husband was done. The tile pieces came out with no real effort and the "tile grout glue" was easily removed and the cement was left smooth. My husband was so thrilled that he removed even more tiles, mainly to see how long it would take to do a 5x8 space as to compare to our previous experience. He was done in less than 20 minutes with the whole project, and his back didn't hurt at all! It is wonderful that the blade part is sharper and wider, leaves a cleaner "cut" on the cement. The handle is very long as well so you do not have to bend over awkwardly. There was little dust as well because the pieces came off in pieces and not dusty shards. We plan to redo our tile in the next few months, and I was worried that the project would make living in our home unbearable based off of the first tile removing experience that we had- we were planning on at least 1 month just removing the tile and dust everywhere; I was considering temporarily moving in with my parents while my husband worked on the project! Now with our new tool, however, I know that the project wont be so horrible and the removing process will be greatly reduced. Thank you for making such an wonderful product. ... show more

  • Worth every penny!
Style: SDS Max Floor Scraper Size: 25 In.
The media could not be loaded. I'm generally not one to write reviews, but this tool was worth it. I've been chipping away with a manual scraper for a couple of weeks removing 80 year old tile glued down with the old black adhesive. A few would come up easily, but most were there to stay and took a lot of manual effort, even with a good ram scraper. I picked this up and put in on a Dewalt cordless 10.5 Joule hammer drill. This cut through the old tile with ease and accomplished more in 2 hours than in 2 days with the hand scraper. While this tool isn't inexpensive, it costs a lot less than the chiropractor bill and the pain med's. One note, make sure the bolts are tight after using it a while; With the vibration of using it, they can loosen up, which can result in a sheared bolt. ... show more

  • Excellent chisel
Style: SDS Max Point Chisel Size: 16 In.
This is the smaller, SDS Max version of the Bosch HS2861 start pointed chisel bit (the HS2861 has the full-breaker sized 1 1/8" shaft and self-sharpening tip"). The photo Amazon is using is not the correct photo. Search for the HS 2861. This one, the HS1934, looks very similar the HS2861. Apparently this chisel is somewhat difficult to find, as two very large tool stores in my area (both big Bosch distributors) did not have it in stock, and would have had to order it. This chisel works very well, driving itself through concrete noticeably faster than the HS1904 bullpoint chisel. BUT, I found that when driving through a compacted / compressed area (for example, breaking up an old fence post footing in the ground), this bit got stuck much more quickly and frequently than the bull point. It almost drives itself in and gets stuck too fast. Unless you are careful to pull it up frequently and before allowing it to drive itself in and wedge itself stuck (which I found myself doing more often than with the bull point chisel), you will be wrestling with the hammer (I have the Bosch 11245EVS) to get it unstuck. Having to hold back from allowing the bit to drive itself deep into the concrete, and being more diligent to chip away at the edges to break off smaller pieces, versus in the middle to get larger pieces to break off (in a narrow, confined space, as in an 18" diameter, 2 ft deep hole, where there is consistent, constant pressure on the material, as there is no where for it to "break off", or fall away) was more tiring than it was using the bull point. The lack of market displays, advertising (it only gets a line item mention in the Bosch catalog), availability, etc, vs the spiral self-sharpening version, model HS1936, suggests that Bosch would prefer you buy that model. Perhaps it has less of a penchant for getting stuck. I have one on its way, and will post a follow-up when I try that chisel. For breaking at the edges of a slab / pad (where the pieces will have more room to fall away and separate), this chisel works very well and noticeably quicker than the bull point. ... show more
