Description

The Bosch GLL 30 self leveling cross line high power laser Projects two lines, making a cross line projection, for a wide array of level and align uses. This versatility makes it more valuable than a typical line laser. With top notch accuracy and one switch operation, The user's leveling and alignment tasks are done quickly and correctly. The red-beam laser lines are visible up to 30 ft. The smart pendulum system self levels and indicates out of level condition to help ensure an accurate layout. The pendulum system locks when switched off, to assure secure tool transport. The included mm 2 flexible mounting device provides micro fine height adjustment, and it allows the laser to be clamped on virtually any surface from 1/2 inch to 2 1/4 inch thick, for level lines at any height. This is a perfect angle measurement tool. Includes: (1) GLL 30, (1) mm 2 flexible mounting device, (2) AA batteries. Class IIA laser product, <1Mw power output.

I like that this comes with a clamp to attach it to stuff so you can keep it out of the way while working on whatveryou are doing. I used it to instal vinyl plank flooring. The line is clear and easy to see unless you are in really bright sunshine. The unit can be a bit sensitive and will simply blink if you dont have it sitting right. It self levels which is handy. My only gripe is that is it turns itself off after a while. So unless you can move like lightning to get your job done, you will find yourself over there turning it off and on again, which can move the line depending on how gentle you are when you turn it on/off. Other than that, I would recommend it. the beam is thin and accurate and doest get fatter as you move away from the unit like some of the cheaper versions. ... show more

I love that it comes with a mount. It easily mounts to a ladder or clamp to wood. I like that when you turn it off that the laser is safely mechanically locked for moving it around. It auto levels every time for a consistent laser light. So worth the money.

So far the batteries have lasted through several hours of continuous use. It isn't the brightest of lasers but works OK for indoor use. The power switch takes an unusual amount of pressure to turn on/off, often causing the level to shift on the tripod, thus requiring a re-level. Overall a decent DIY tool. ... show more
