This is my third ice maker in 6 years. I run my ice maker every single night from 4:30 to 7:30 - 365 days a year. So this will be a review that I will return to, after a year, and after two years?... TBD Today 12OCT2020. Very impressed so far. 5-Stars PRO: It is fast, quiet and delivers ice so fast it reaches full condition in less than 1 hours. Ice quality is perfect. CON: Those indicator lights are way too bright - can't read what they are indicating because I am blinded when I try to read.. yea, this is a minor problem that I will get over. Maybe I can paint some fingernail polish over them to dim them... UPDATE: Well 6 weeks later (20NOV2020) I have to drop it to 4 stars. On large cube setting it now is producing only tiny saucer shaped ice "cubes". Very disappointing. I'm going to put it through a clean cycle and hopefully that will help... More to come UPDATE: Three Months - already starting to fail.. Disappointed. Making MINI / super MINI ice cubes now.. anyway.. just disappointed. what else can I say.. ... show more

When it comes to setting up, the only thing you have to really do is remove from box, put tray inside, add water and plug in. I was able to clean mine out before using, as along with everything that is currently going on, I did a quick wipe down with soap and water but I was able to handwash the tray. When it comes to filling, you just fill it to the max line, select what size of ice cube you want and press the power button. I took a picture of the size difference between the 2 sizes. Once the ice cubes are done, it automatically puts the ice in the tray. I have an ice holder in my freezer that I just dump these cubes in and done. When the tray fills up to the top, the ice machine automatically stops, it will beep and you'll see a red light. Same will be done when it's out of water. When you choose the cleaning selection, it flushes water through the molds and continues to rotate the water through the filtration system and ice molds. All you have to do is add water and select that option. Once done, it will beep and automatically stop and turn off on it's own. Not to mention, if you have this running and if it either runs out of water or the ice tray is full, if you don't fill it or empty the ice tray, it will automatically turn off on it's own. Where I have this, it doesn't take up much space and it's out of my way of anything else I do on my counter. Easy to fill and easy to use. ... show more

After a year and a half, it stopped working. I looked in the manual to troubleshoot and did exactly what it said. Then if it did not work, call customer service service. Well, there is no number to call in the manual or on the product itself. So I am out of luck. Don't let it happen to you. Buy a different product. ... show more

I ordered this for my basement kitchen as we are always running short on ice. Since this is where we do most of our entertaining and bar service, this ice shortage was becoming more and more of a problem. We found ourselves buying ice more more frequently than what made sense, and since the freezer is small any leftover was an issue to store. So a countertop icemaker was the obvious solution! This thing Is the easiest thing on earth to use. I have used one before, my mom has one, but still I didn’t crack open the directions at all. If you raise the lid on the front, you will see an ice tray along with the scooper. When it arrives these items are taped in place. Once you remove those there is a reservoir where are you pour the water. There is a label in the side of that reservoir that says max fill. Simply pour water to that line and turn this on. There are some options for ice cube size, make a choice and in a few minutes you will have a whole basket of ice. If you scoop any out, it will automatically make more in just a couple of minutes as long as there is still water in the reservoir. The ice remains intact for hours, Although we haven’t tested it for too long because we go through it. It’s a great supplement to our icemaker in the freezer that’s not so great.
