Excellent sounding exhaust. I didn't hear any drones on the highway at all (80mph). I installed it myself. Took a couple hours since I'm not a mechanic. Very easy install. Highly recommend. Makes a Corvette soundlike a Corvette should. No cutting involed on the new exhaust.

    • Absolutely Love it, but not perfect.
Everyone knows the stock exhaust on the C6 Corvette is garbage. It makes the car sound like a luxury car rather than a sports car. I spent many hours researching exhausts online and finally decided to the ATAK exhaust from Borla. My motto in life is that you get what you pay for. Yes this exhaust is one of the most expensive out there but I think it was worth the extra dough. It took me about 3 hours to install it all by myself, and I have never worked on exhaust systems before. I could probably do it in just over an hour if I tried again. Everyone praises this exhaust so I won't spend a lot of time on the PROS, but rather tell you more of the CONS. PRO: - Finally gives my stock 2006 Z51 Vette a sporty sound - The larger exhaust tips makes the car look more aggressive - Feel a gain HP, haven't checked it on the dyno yet - Love the crackle and pop sound after letting my foot off the gas - No annoying drone in the cabin, which I have heard in other cars - Didn't mind the free Borla cap CONS: - Expensive. There might be a comparable exhaust for less, but I didn't want to spend a lot of time hearing each of them in person. - Not really an pefect bolt-on kit. I had to cut the right exhaust pipe (where it attaches to the outlet of the stock H-pipe) by 1.5" to make it fit. It would have been impossible otherwise. Good thing I had a Dremel tool with a spare cutting blade. Maybe for the high price they sell it for they can also include a free power tool? - No protective film on the mufflers or tips. It was really easy to scratch the shiny surfaces during the installation process. It would have been nice for Borla to have protective films on the shiny surfaces (tips and muffler body) so it can be removed after the installation is complete - Unmatched sloping of the exhaust tips. So the tips on each side are similar, but when comparing the left pair to the right, they look slightly different. The angle of the left seems to slope down more than the right. Call me OCD, but I was expecting perfection having paid nearly fifteen-hundred bucks for this exhaust. I was able to get them parallel and equidistant form the bumper, but the slope of the tips can not be modified since they're welded on. ... show more

They came in a Big box..full of nylons and covers and protection pads..instructions and a BORLA hat. Sounds surprisingly Good..i didn't expect that exhausts with mufflers gonna sound loud like this..they even back fire when you down shift..next x pipe and long tubers..

Amazing sound makes the Corvette sound how it should I wouldn't go any milder but my 2007 C6 is bone stock; If you have major upgrades such as cats, headers, cams, etc might be a little loud for the neighbors lol. Go Borla keep up the good work!!!

Was excited to get these and so disappointed when we unpacked them. Packaging was great, but these had to have accidentally got out of the factory before going to quality control. No way the company would have let these leave their factory in the condition I received them in. Two of the 4 pipes were longer and stuck out more than other 2 and one of them was definitely not cut straight bc it was angled weird. Contacted the company directly for help. ... show more
