This Jig is absolutely perfect, the action is great, and it’s the perfect weight to get good casting distance while still being light enough to flutter to the bottom. HOWEVER, I highly recommend that you trim the weedguard down until it just barely covers the tip of the hook, as it comes very long which I found led to more failed hooksets. I've caught lots of big bass in excess of 4lbs with these jigs. And they have held up. I fish them mostly in thick grass and around blowdowns. The paint will chip off on some rocky bottoms. That said, these are excellent jigs for the price.
